The front desk staff was phenomenal. They gave us wonderful suggestions for dinner, and helped us with reservations. As it was our 21st wedding anniversary, we were surprised and delighted to be upgraded to a junior suite at no added cost. All in all, a wonderful experience !.
Very nice quiet room on our way home from New York. Great check-in staff. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Nice privacy barrier around back of room so we could keep the curtains open.all reviews
Very nice decor to hotel and rooms, very helpful staff, great location for winery-hoping, near Santa Rosa, etc.
Having a mini fridge was helpful for wines we had purchased.
Great choice of decor both inside the rooms and throughout the inn. Very clean and comfortable bed. Easy access to the 101 freeway and one exit away from Calistoga.
Rooms were big, clean, mostly quiet and comfy. Free wifi. Mini fridge allowed us to keep our own beverages. Lots of amenities - pool, spa, restaurant, happy hour.
Hotel was wonderful. Room spacious, clean and perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was beyond anything you would expect! Great Plance.
The staff is helpful and friendly. On-site restaurant had delicious choices. On-site wine tasting was fun. Good neighborhood to take a walk (or hike).
Well located with freeway acces and close to the wedding we were attending
Rooms were very clean
Staff was very helpful and courteous.
The Fountaingrove is one of my favorite hotels. I've stayed there at least 50 times. It is beautiful and comfortable and relaxing.
Friendly helpful staff who understood English well.
Large comfortable room.
Good price for the level we got.
Quite and good rest. Room is designed to make you relax. Clean and I love all the bushes and trees.
the friendliness of the staff. the appetizers in the restaurant and small plates were fabulous.
The room opening out to a garden view. Overall design of the property. Restaurant and staff.
Had a great experience, will definately stay again. Great location for Sonoma wine tasting.
Big, very comfortable rooms & the two reclining leather chairs in front of the tv!.
Design
Quiet despite being on busy intersection.
Comfortable bed
Cleanliness.
Close to downtown, countryside, wine area, well kept, pet friendly.
I loved the pool. Great temperature.
Staff was very friendly.
I took a break from San Francisco....It worked for me.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff
Good location.
Spacious room, friendly staff and the heated pool.
pool, hot tub, location, staff, bar, cleanliness.
Room was nice. Got an upgrade upon checkin.
Nice and clean. Staff was accommodating.
Room service and food were delicious.
Convenient location to Santa Rosa.
This hotel is very dog friendly.
Location was very practical.
Closeness to wine country.
Staff, food, location.
quiet, beautiful.
Comfy beds.
Quiet.
Our room was very nice, well appointed, bedding very comfortable and great bathroom with proper lighting for makeup.
Convenient location to what i was doing in town. Staff was friendly & check in was a breeze.
Convenient location to wineries and restaurants in Sonoma County.
It was very convienent to where we needed to be.
Front desk personnel were good.
Location just off motorway.
The lounge and breakfast setting.
The only issue we had was the very sporadic Internet service. We are both self-employed professionals, and the frequent interruptions in service made it rather difficult for us to stay connected to our offices.
Nothing.
Alas we were too busy with family to enjoy any of the amenities. But really loved the room. Our proximity to the lobby meant there was some noise from a group that was using it to socialize for a few hours. But the noise stopped promptly at 10 pm.
That we didn't stay two nights.
Room had a lot of cords and outlets at eye level for our toddler
Bathroom was small and felt cramped and cave-like (low ceiling).
Too many people know about it and getting reservations at times is difficult.
To pricey some days.
Not much engagement from the front desk staff AFTER out check in experience (she was terrific).
1st room we got had a low rumble all night from the heat/ac on the roof. Staff was very cooperative in helping us move the next morning.
No in-room hair dryer.
Room service messed up a couple of things on our order.
That I did not have anymore time.
Air condition in our room very noisy.
construction workers using saws when we were trying to relax by the pool.
Restaurant wasn't open when we checked in. Had to leave and go
somewhere else.
Wifi service was intermittent.
I had requested a late check out. I called the front desk and shared my
wishes to check out at two pm. They agreed. I placed the do not disturb
sign on the door nob so I could sleep. I still had house keeping nock on
my door three times! Very disruptive.
For what you pay, a room should have a microwave and a free continental breakfast should be offered.
The tv remote - sometimes worked sometimes didn't.
Small pool area ..not enough seats.
only one key and coffee maker was difficult to work.
Facility needs some updating . The carpet is very old looking .
Allin all I found the hotel to be very "dark" in its lobby and hallways. The carpeting in the hallways and stairs very dirty, neeed to be replaced.
Beds were worn out. Slept with my head on the edge & my butt in the middle. T.V. by the bed did not work & the carpet going into the bathroom was worn out & coming up.
Poor Internet reception. Very corporate, utilitarian. Nothing special.
This hotel is a little old and it seems to be priced high.
Fan was noisy so it was hard to sleep.
Wifi did not work at all or continually broke down. Had to have car to get into Santa Rosa.
Not impressed by the restaurant, nor by the large spider in the room.
1970'S type furnishings, small cracker box tv, and smelled like an
old smoking room, a $70.00 dollar motel room at best!!.
