I was in the area for a workshop. I wanted above all a quiet, clean,
secure place, located near Highway 101 (but not too close) and of course
not expensive which is not easy in this area. The North Bay Inn is a
simple, traditional motel that met my requirements. The lady at the
reception was really nice and that contributed to my feeling of security
and well being. The room was spotless clean with every item in good
order and well maintained. The bed is comfortable, the linen spotless
clean, th. all reviews
The motel lies along the Medicino road with busy traffic during daytime At night it gets quiet.
The room was big and basic but clean and so was the bathroom.
The TV had a reasonable selection of channels, lots of telsels. Free WiFi internet worked very good with a good speed for streaming media.
Nearby the motel are a lot of shops and a large supermarket.
Great location to downtown restaurants and an easy drive to wine country. Friendly staff. Not fancy but clean bathroom and bed linen plus refrig and microwave and grocery store 2 blocks away which allows for snacks And drinks in room. We recommend it.
EZ to find location; convenient to everything we wanted to do i.e. nail salon, quick shoppping and eating, church service and music programs. Also quiet! In addition, we had a nice stroll through the picturesque Junior College campus right next door.
A good hub to start from to visit several different desirable places, such as Armstrong Redwoods, Bodega Bay, Military aviation museum, Charles Schultz (Peanuts) museum, Russian River beach, don't miss Juanita's Mexican Food.
I liked the location. It was located in the middle of what we wanted to see and do. Bed was comfortable. Street traffic was quiet, even though it was located on busy street near Hwy 101. Good restaurants within 1 block.
Our North Bay Inn room was exceptionally clean, quiet, and roomy for three adults. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It was in a great location; close to stores, restaurants and the downtown area. A great value.
Clean, spacious room with good heater. Refrigerator, microwave and TV with many stations.
Nice proprietor.
Peaceful and easy to access one story building.
Good location. Good price.
Friendly, efficient check-in. Room was clean, comfortable, and came with fridge and microwave. Not a big room, but definitely adequate. Very good value for the money.
Size of the room was excellent. It was a basic, comfortable, large room. No bells and whistles, but we didn't need any. Very happy with the motel and friendly staff.
A nice, clean hotel that is very affordable. Not a terrible location a few blocks from downtown Santa Rosa. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
It was perfect for our needs; a place to spend an overnight before another wonderful day in the area. Clean, quiet, comfortable.
Friendly staff, easily accessable. Very reasonable, clean and well maintained room.
Very good quality for what you get. Very clean. Cheapest place in the whole valley.
Clean and updated. Very close to good food. Small refigerator came on very handy.
Very clean. Bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again!.
Generally good..... I would stay there again.
clean, comfortable, pleasant management.
It was close, quiet and clean.
great location and fair price.
It was in a good location, next to a wonderful vegetarian restaurant. No frills but basics are fine. I think the price was fair for the area.
The room was very clean and well appointed. Great location and value for
money. Felt safe in a town that doesn't always seem so.
Convenient access to/from freeway. Old fashion motor court layout and style. Small refrigerator.
Despite appearances, room was quiet the night we were there.
location, basic needs.
If it is hot bring earplugs because the ac is noisy.
Breakfast was poor, just some pastries, fruit&nut bars, coffee, juice, etc. There is no breakfast area, you collect the breakfast items in the motel lobby.
Nearby are some breakfast options like the Subway opposite the motel.
Nothing.
No complaints.
Breakfast included? I would not call it breakfast.
Traffic noise from Mendocino Way.
weds. morning early garbage trucks in neighborhood.
It was still expensive. They could do with a proper breakfast offering, not just a pick up something and go proposal.
I agree it had a musty smell.
lousy TV.
very simple place. heater was noisy.
The staff said nothing about breakfast, which I didn't realize was included until after our stay. They did not offer the Wifi password at check-in. They were not unfriendly, just not overly accommodating.
While free breakfast was mentioned in the online booking, it wasn't
mentioned on arrival and not volunteered. It turned out to minimal and
only available from hotel reception. Not a problem with a Starbucks five
minutes down the road but not a plus.
Small size bath towels. Garbage pickup before 5:00am right behind my room.
Carpets, drapes, furniture, bathroom fixtures all need updating.
Breakfast was advertised as included but at 7:30 A.M. hotel office was
still locked.
had smell from mold. not cleaned well.
On-line description did not match reality.
