  The hotel was beautiful, had old-world charm but all the modern conveniences, including a refrigerator in the room. The tall ceilings, big window, and huge bathroom were fabulous. It was convenient to ETSU and all the stores and activities in Johnson City. - Everything! The entire hotel had a classic, turn of the century feel, yet felt very new... what people say » throughout.   Due to a last-minute cancellation elsewhere, we were lucky enough to find a room for 5 people at The Hilton Nashville. The staff at this hotel, from front desk to housekeeping, all had amazing customer service skills. They were all professional, polite and probably some of the nicest staff I have ever dealt with in a hotel.   Staff was unbelievably helpful, courteous, and accomodating. Great in every way and we stay a a lot of hotels. Close to the Grand Ole Opry, and close enough to Broadway and other Nashville points of interest.   The staff was very professional and courteous. Even when I asked to purchase some Twix from the front counter and the rep politely informed me that they did not sell any twigs. That I could have any that I wanted on the outside grounds. Even though he misunderstood me. He didn't look at me like an idiot or insult me.
