  The hotel was beautiful, had old-world charm but all the modern conveniences, including a refrigerator in the room. The tall ceilings, big window, and huge bathroom were fabulous. It was convenient to ETSU and all the stores and activities in Johnson City. - Everything! The entire hotel had a classic, turn of the century feel, yet felt very new... what people say » throughout.   It's a beautiful facility with lots of areas for congregating in the lobby and on the two balconies overlooking the pools. The pool area is fantastic. We only ate breakfast there, but the wait staff were so nice and friendly, and the restaurant was beautiful.   Staff was unbelievably helpful, courteous, and accomodating. Great in every way and we stay a a lot of hotels. Close to the Grand Ole Opry, and close enough to Broadway and other Nashville points of interest.   The staff was very professional and courteous. Even when I asked to purchase some Twix from the front counter and the rep politely informed me that they did not sell any twigs. That I could have any that I wanted on the outside grounds. Even though he misunderstood me. He didn't look at me like an idiot or insult me.   The staff was incredible friendly and helpful! They knew us by name everytime we would walk by the lobby. The room was very clean and up to date! Their attitudes reflected an open and friendly environment with a willingness to help!   The setting a Opryland is just phenomonal. The price is really not badwhen you consider what you stay in and the availability of shopping,restaurants and lush grounds all available in ac.   We obviously loved the the breakfast buffet which is honestly what makes it worth the money for my fiance and I. We will absolutely be coming back when we want a night out. - The Room and staff are excellent. Staff were friendly and always ask if we need anything. We will book Embassy Suites again went traveling.
