all reviews Enormous room - clean. Room service was excellent and surprisingly affordable/reasonable. Huge choices for dining within the hotel. Staff was excellent, professional, conscientious, expedient and accommodating. Vip parking services and baggage concierge was a breeze. Very awesome rooftop roller-coaster! Pretty much an unbeatable all around excellent stay at ny, ny of Vegas - particularly for the value to money spent ratio. I recommend this hotel to anyone over most others I have stayed at in Ve. The lady at front desk was really professional. I was a little impatient after my bad Vegas experience but she remained calm and friendly the whole time during our conversation. The hotel is interesting, you can spend half day walking around- from outside you see a few famous New York buildings + Statue of Libertyy and the ny bridge, inside there are like real streets (Broadway) and of course the casino. Check in was quick and check out is express. Great location, value for money and service. We stayed in the Madison Avenue rooms and they were huge. Comfy beds, dark and cool rooms with the curtains closed, if you weren't in Vegas you could happily stay in the room all day. Bath was big and plenty of hot water. You wouldn't have to leave the hotel if you didn't want to. Pool was great and well priced drinks and snacks. Huge arcade level for the kids up near the roller coaster. We upgraded our room when we checked in and we weren't disappointed. The rooms were extremely spacious and comfortable. My husband and I used the spa services and they were great. The services were a little expensive but it was worth the cost given the convenience of the spa being onsite. Our son is 7 and really enjoyed the onsite arcade. A great value for money hotel, well more like a mini-city. I only stayed there for a night, but had a great experience. The room was spacy and comfortable. For a little adrenalin rush you can get on the roller coast around the hotel - the waiting line is rather long, but well worth the ride. The most memorable from the casino was the out of nowhere show from a Michael Jackson imitator, which was great. Everything on this hotel was perfect! Room was very big (although it was the smallest one), bed was so comfy, bathroom was like a Palace! Swimming pool was awesome, hotel location ON strip, wifi perfect working in the room! Free parking. The hotel deserves a 4* in all manners with the quality of rooms and facilities. We were not really into casinos, still it has one of very rare tables that allows you to play still with smallest lots (5usd). ChEat in chi chi I think the restaurant was called. It was delicious! WiFi wasn't working in our room& went down to the reception about this lady told us that it was switched off and she turn it on but it still wasn't working so was put through to technician who got it working no problem. The staff was amazing. I was traveling for a work trip and encountered an issue at check in with my employer's payment. It was late and I'd been traveling all day. Christian at the registration desk handled the issue quickly and I could not be more appreciative of his efforts. The hotel was very beautiful and clean. The security Staff was very helpful in resolving a matter at the round bar involving my wife and another guy that was not welcome at are booth. Even though we had many activities planned outside of hotel, you could stay on property for days and not get bored of the food or the entertainment!. First of all I would never go in Vegas again- this is the worst place in us! It seems all freaks from the world are there together. Everyone acts abnormal (people shouting and wanting to fight us while we are just walking). It is all ugly and artificial and nothing like Europe (I have visited most European countries). For the hotel- room very basic for this category and there was a connection door to another room with strangers- not very safe. Otherwise hotel perfectly ok. No fridge in the room (think you could get it for an extra charge) but we used the bins as ice buckets and managed ok!. If you are a non-smoker, be prepared for the smell of smoke in the main casino hall. You generally need to walk through this to get to each side of the hotel restaurants and shops so be prepared. Nothing in particular. In the pool you couldn't really have a nap because of the rollercoaster, for us it didnt bother, but every 5 min people are screaming above you. No laundry machine (in all american hotels/motels there is one) , only expensive laundry service. We arrived the hotel towards 5pm and our room was still not ready. They gave us another room and we learnt we should never get a room with high last digit (E.G.1981) as you have to walk a lot in the labyrent floors of the hotel (at least in century building) with luggages. not given any map or directions best way to go to strip until we asked. Pool closes too early. I didn't get to stay long enough. bathroom sink was slow to drain in the room we was staying in. Looked out of window and saw roof top and huge bright lights... but, still LOVED the room. This is simply because I'm asthmatic and am not used to smoking indoors anymore, but the stale cigarette smell as you walk in is pretty gross. The hotel is older so can't mask it as well as other hotels. Also the lack of service indicated above. However, all up, it's a pretty good hotel with lots of eating options in the hotel itself. I don't know much about gambling so I can't comment on that!. +/- Wifi signal differs during the day, but was overall fine. - No bothering from outside noise, till some workpeople thought it was fun to go drilling at 6 am...and yes that sounds very loud even at the 22th floor!. No mini bar :(. The maids were extremely loud all night long, this made it hard for us to sleep. We even had several knocks on our door (and neighbors doors) asking, "Are you okay?" We were very quiet, so this constant interruption was bizarre. Also the constant talking amongst the staff throughout the night made it hard to sleep. There was a billing discrepancy and I ended up being overcharged. The staff and manager insisted I take it up with letsbookhotel.com, that there was nothing they could do (even though I was willing to show them proof they did not want to bother seeing it). Manager was condescending on both occasions I reached out to them about the issue. Still working with letsbookhotel.com to resolve the issue. Pool closed too early Refrigerator costs extra Food in restaurants pricey. Nothing I found during my stay dissatisfied me. I liked everything nyny provided. Parts of the hotel are now a bit dated , toilets and bedrooms. The room was nothing to be remembered and had no mini bar. Don't ask to the concierge to book any tour for you (we did the Grand Canyon tour) as it will cost you a lot of money. Don't like the fact of smoking indoors, but that is for all hotels/casino's. Did have a non smoking room though, which was great. Not really any negatives. Pool is small for such a big hotel Basic equipment at pool (no umbrellas Queues for the reception desk are endless Bars are noisy and expensive. Room could of had a fridge. nothing --i loved this place woukld come back again and also recommend it to family and friends... The light in the room, it was very dark, small windows and not enough lighting. Casino area a little Smokey. Long queue for check in. Pool area on the small side and lack of available Sun loungers. No fridge. Lack of coffe/tea making facilities in the room. the amazing roller coster (definitively a must!) has no discount or special price for customer hosted in the hotel! at least a small difference with other people would have been nice. No Tea or Coffee making facilities or Fridges in rooms. No separate shower.... Big hotel so it is very crowded. Smoky casino floor. Took a while to figure my way around the entrance, lobby end of the lobby floor. Outside spoiled by building works.
