WiFi (included with the resort fee) is provided throughout rooms at Excalibur. Every room has a cable TV, a large bathroom with a hair dryer.
The Las Vegas Excalibur provides a large business center and a tour desk. Guests can browse the numerous on-site shops and enjoy a variety of musical and theater entertainment acts, including "Tournament of Kings."
The Excalibur Spa offers a variety of treatments, including massages, facials, and other body treatments. There are 4 outdoor pools featuring a water slide, poolside cabanas, and an Adult Only Pool. A large gym with modern equipment is also available.
Interstate 15 is 1 mile from the resort offering easy access to area attractions. McCarran International Airport is 2.8 miles away and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas is 2.5 miles from the hotel.
Me, hubby and our 13 year old daughter stayed here for 4 nights in July 2013. We let my daughter pick the hotel and she chose this one.
The hotel looks amazing! Who doesn't want to stay in a castle?!?!
The hotel itself if huge and is great for families.
There is a large food court and a few restaurants onsite to choose from. There is also a 'fun dungeon' with lots of arcade games and attractions for kids.
The pool area is nice, big and clean although the pool isn't that deep. There is a sep. all reviews
Price and location! Excellent location, easy to walk on the strip or
catch all-day-pass bus if your feet get tired. Room was clean and plenty
big. Super cheap price for this location. I don't spend that much
time in the room, but when I am there, I want it to be quiet and
restful, so I asked for "an upper floor room with a view, toward
the end of the hall, away from the elevators and ice machine". They
accommodated me on all counts - the view was great and the room was
quiet (I was in "Tower 2".
I really enjoyed my stay here. Compared to similar prices casinos, this resort was excellent value for money and the resort fee included use of the in-room wired internet and sports room (though I never got time to use that!) All staff and security were very friendly and helpful and it felt safe and homely compared to some other establishments. Easy access to the Luxor where I ate many buffets, though you can use both with an all day buffet ticket... As many times as you like! Great prices duri.
Loved the location. Opposite the MGM Grand and next door to the Luxor and New York New York hotels. Bus tops right outside to take you up the strip and to downtown. A 2 dollar bus to the airport on the WEX service. Great gym and pool area. You could pay a LOT more and not really get much more than is in Excalibur. Depends on whether you can afford it. We were backpacking across the US and found this one of the cheapest places we stayed (including hostels) and its a huge hotel right on the stri.
the room was big and clean. no breakfast but on the first floor you have starbucks, shlotzky, cinnamon, mcdonalds and many more. the hotel is huge, but comparing to others in vegas, it's only 'big' and that good because eventually you get tired of walking every time 15minutes from your room to the pool or somewhere else in the hotel, and here is only few minutes. it's very good value. it looks nice on pictures but it's actually much nicer in reality. we checked in at night and the lights outsi.
I love the location. You can walk from the Excalibur to Luxor and
Mandalay Bay without going outside in the seering heat. You can take an
overpass to New York New York and onward to mgm. There were lots of
choices for food to eat at the hotel with a variety of budgets (go to
Dick's Last Resort). The rooms were spacious and comfortable but we
were in the older tower that had not been updated in forever but still,
no problems. Comfy beds, big bathroom and an ac.
The 1st person I encountered was the clerk at the reservations desk. She was very friendly, informative & helpful. The rooms were all we expected & more. Very clean, comfortable & relaxing. We didn't have to leave the comfort of our dwelling to have dinner. The next day we had lunch at the buffet, delicious. Every employee we encountered at The Excalibur was very polite, friendly & helpful. We loved our time spent there!.
The hotel looks good. It's very very big and has unique appearance that you will remember all your life.It is well maintained and got nice stuff. Also it has a big "food court" - place with lots of dining places so you not really have to leave the hotel. The buffet is fantastic, if you like to eat a lot.Really close to public transportation (monorail in MGM and buses near Tropicana - all more or less across the street).
Having returned to the Excalibur after 15 years, pleased to see the same luxury and grandeur with total efficiency for such a large hotel. Buffet dinner more expensive now, but still very good value for money, given the huge choice. Excellent location to explore other resorts nearby and close to the rapid transit and airport. Signage inside the Casino is very good and absolutely essential in such a vast complex.
Everything was excellent and moved effortlessly. Registration had normal wait lines but staff was very courteous. Room location was poor but very clean. Spent little time in room so weren't concerned about location. Everything else was easily accessible for coffee, food and beverages. Second time staying here and we will come back here again.
The Excalibur Hotel is very well organised, the check-in and check-out arrangements are excellent. They organise free lessons in the three main games in their casino - perfect for us novices. The room was clean. The pool area is lovely. The location is great, right on the Strip. All staff were extremely helpful when asked anything at all.
I was happy with the comfort of the beds and pillows. Also the buffets
were very good. I liked receiving the coupon book at check in. I
appreciated the affordable prices on rooms. Showers and restrooms in
rooms were surprising large. Person at front desk at check in was very
nice and commandeering.
The room was large and comfortable. When we realized we got a non-
smoking room instead of a smoking room, the registration desk was very
quick to bring us new keys to a different room with no questions asked.
We greatly appreciated that. It was a wonderful experience and we will
do it again.
Great value for no money. We got beautiful room in 26th floor with a
view on Las Vegas. Room was perfect, after 1 weeks sleeping in tent on
different campgrounds. Beasides to excellent price we got a discount
booklet, unfortunately we did not read it carefully, and forget to use
discounts.
The hotel is very organized, the check-in, check-out, buffet services and guests services were very fast without long lines and with very gently people.
The amenitties of the hotel are very clean, good and ample.
The hotel is very well localized close to all the city attrations.
The price of the room was a real draw for us, although we only stayed for one night. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The casino was large compared to others on the strip and the dealers were friendly. Would stay again but wish there were less children running around.
I liked that it was close to a lot of other casino's and wasn't
too much of a hastle going from one place to another. I also liked that
their windows in the smoking rooms open enough to let the smoke out.
Very nice when one person smokes and the other(s) doesn'T.
Great location to start walkin the strip.we were visiting at hi season
rates so the value was great the staff was excellent . it was always
busy . If anyone wants a clean ,friendly , comfortable and affordable
2-3 star hotel , you will not go wrong with this one.
The location, monorail free service to mandalay bay and back to excalibur, fast and friendly check in and check out service specially during check in with the receptionist named Angel. We enjoyed the buffet in luxor and excalibur, its nicer if its a 24hr offer.
Was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and size of the rooms. Very clean and tidy considering the size of the hotel and relatively cheap price. Location is good just opposite New York New York and MGM Grand but at a fraction of the price.
I came Excalibur first time in 2001 it was good.Thats why ı would rather to stayed Excalibur one more time. Its clean, friendly. However, comparing the other hotels, rooms and food courts are little bit seemed old.
İts already good.
Thank you...
Location along with the Tram is a plus. Staff were very knowledgeable and quick. Checking in and out was hassle free. Rooms are very clean and comfortable with amenities. Family and Child friendly hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
They we so nice!... Although the registration line was extremely long, staff was quick& efficient & aiming to please!... Asked for a view and got a complimentary upgrade. Comfortable and centric to a great part of the strip!:-).
The hotel offered super clean rooms and general public area, the buffet was filled with everything a person could ask for and was a great supplier of fresh veg and fruit. The staff was very helpful and polite as well as freindly.
The rooms are very nice, and you can be in one of the most emblematic casinos of the strip. If you have problems with cigarette smoke, don't stay in any casino, or even better, don't go to Las Vegas, as people smoke everywhere.
We liked the easy pedestrian access to other hotels with the over
road walkways and the monorail. The bus stop was right outside the
front door, and the castle look was fantastic. The Tournament of
Kings was great.
Wonderful, from style to position. It's a theme hotel, in the center of the strip. Wide and beatiful rooms. The Casino is huge and nice. The swimming pool is great and with breathtaking view to other three hotels.
I like the fact that I had everything I needed right there in the Hotel.
I really did not need to leave for any reason. Everyone was nice and for
the most part was able to help me when I may have had questions.
Good value for money outside the weekend. Guest services desk worked
very well. Try to use it for everything (except check-in itself) to
avoid getting into the check-in line, for all other front desk actions.
The rooms were well layed out and the beds were very very comfy! Locaton of the hotel is great and in the thick of the action! Would highly recommened this hotel to anyone and the price we paid was perfect.
Price during weekdays is really very good.
Staff is professional all times, and very eager to help.
The hotel uses a kind of fragrance to mask the tobacco smoke. It´s not perfect, but it´s a nice effort.
affordable buffet upstairs which has a big range. really cool hat store upstairs which can design & create u any custom logo that u want. not a long walk to where the action starts outside the MGM.
I stay here alot and find it just fine to my liking. Love the adult pool
area and the sandwich I had last summer from the snack bar was
wonderful. Win on the machines to. I love the new food court! :).
i always like it here. this is my3rd time this year staying here. it is always nice and friendly and easy to get to the strip and highway. Bee Gees were great. pool was great even tho it rained.
On the strip so very good for access to there. All day buffet is fantastic value with a superb choice. Swimming pool and good bars within and plenty of gambling choices if that's your thing!.
I liked the comfort, and when I stayed in vegas I hopped to multiple hotels for deals. The excaliber had the quietest rooms out of all the hotels I stayed at, I could not here my neighbors.
Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, but main thing that i want to mention is Staff. Staff were extremly helpful and very friendly. Thank you my friends! Greetings from Georgia!.
-friendly staff
-clean-smelling (most casinos and hotels smell bad) nice atmosphere
beautiful/clean rooms
good area
easy to find places in casino
very clean casino/hotel.
Fantastic place to spend a mini break. Staff very friendly. Plenty to do
in the hotel. Very clean. Pool brilliant, especially the adult pool at
the back. Had a fabulous time and break.
was very nice i ad three day relax after my long trip from Sydney Australia . I will come back in this Hotel this year to have more fun thank you Excalibar.
There were 4 pools outside and could find somewhere to sit whenever I was there. Casino has a few $5 min tables which is good for budget travelrs. Located on the strip which was great.
The room had been renovated & was nicer than our last visit 2 years ago. Bed was very comfortable which is important to us. Saw improvement in the professionalism of staff.
This hotel was right on the strip but it also had so much in the complex like a huge casino and many places to eat.The pool was great to cool down in the blazing sun.
Good price. Amazing location. Everything is there. But for me it was too much about the money. It's really the most disneyland vibe you can get on the strip i think..
We loved how kid friendly Excalibur was. We liked that it didnt reek of
smoke, the decor is amazing, the rooms were big and luxurious, staff was
friendly and helpful.
Convenient location (close to the Strip). The room was big, comfortable, clean and quiet. Pool area, free parking, food court variety. The buffet was good and tasty.
Knights of the round table show. Food was good overall. Comfortable room, but would have been nice to be able to cool it down better by being able to drop the temp.
Big hotel located centraly on Las Vegas Strip. You have all you need in the complex, and walking distance to various shopping malls , shows and casinos on the Strip.
Great price for a 2 day stopover on the way to another state. The heat in Vegas was perfect,...coming from a rainy cold area. Very nice room and resort facilities.
The room was extremely clean. The bathroom was nice and big. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The location on the strip was great.
The pool isn't deep, 3.5ft max.
Overall, the price and location made up for any shortcomings, but have a
sense of humor... There are no "standard" amenities in the
room that would prevent them from selling you the
product/snack/food downstairs in the hotel... No coffee maker,
no refrigerator, no microwave. Barely any channels on tv. No wifi, but
wired internet worked well. No airport shuttle. Be aware of the
$15/night "resort fee" (all hotels on the strip do it, and
some are higher $).
Use of sauna not included in resort fee, costing 10 bucks a visit. Otherwise I was impressed with this place and would definitely return.
Nothing.
The casino smelled and not from cigarette smoke. They must have pumped
some kind of air freshener in the casino to mask the smoke smell but it
was sickening sweet.
That we had to check out & leave.
The room did not have a refrigerator - and it even was a upgraded, "king" room.
The room did not have a bathing tub - only shower.
No coffee making facilities, probably because one is supposed to buy it in the Casino. Pool disappointing as it was too shallow and even with three different pools, given the amount of guests, they were too small. The whole leisure area needs urgent updating, compared to pool areas of other, more recently built Casinos.
Slots weren't paying very well. Would like to get a little more play time with my money.
Although it was blazing hot and the pool area was open, the pool itself was closed. The staff said it wasn't 'busy enough'! Also, we wondered quite what the 'resort fee' was for. We had to pay $20 for a pair of sun loungers! We were a bit surprised as we would have thought it was included. These are the only downsides.
I didn't like the two employees taking bets in the sports book on
Sunday and Monday morning. Very rude. I didn't like that one of our
rooms wasn't vacuumed and had odd stuff on the ground. Felt like I
couldn't walk without socks or shoes on floor. Drains in bathrooms
did have an odd, sour smell coming from them.
Our only complaint would be the toilet paper in the bathroom. My wife is
short and it was quite a stretch from the commode to the toilet paper
hung from the bathroom counter. I'm not sure how they would do it
any differently and they probably never thought about it being an issue.
When checking-out in morning, there was nobody in check-in counters and
2 ladies had to do both services. Unfortunately in the same moment there
were 2 other customers with some issues, so I stayed in the que for
almost 20 minutes, then checked out in 20 seconds. Nobody was added to
service to help with check-outs.
It's very hard to find place in the parking lot, especially during weekends. Guests should have a reserves parking space.
I didn't like the fact that they didn't have a smoking room for
us upon check in as I specifically requested. I'm a smoker and my
fiance is not. I called to see if their windows opened so that I can
smoke out the window. They said yes so I booked a room. If you get a non
smoking room, the windows open maybe a couple centimeters. They put us
in a smoking room the fallowing day which helped a ton as the window
opened much more. Pretty minor inconvienence since it was remedied
within a day.
We had a sink not drain problem when we arrived and it took a little too
long to get fixed ,but it was hi-season in Vegas ! the hotel is starting
to show its age in tower 1 carpet , fixtures furnature etc but still
very functional . hotel tower 2 has been updated , but it is another $20
per night per room .does not seem right to me . but hey it is hi-season
in vegas!!!.
No fridge and tea coffee facility in the room. The A/C needs to be updated and pls change the curtain's style.
Did not find anything that was to dislike.
Lots of people offering you discounts. Ask in advance what you need to do in order to get them or you will waste your time hearing a 30 minutes speech.
It was so big it was too easy to get lost but on the bright side there
was always a friendly face to ask for directions.
Basically nothing to report. The only thing maybe the wi-fi, not free and taken only by smarthphone, not laptop.
When I first got to the Hotel I asked a worker by my room would I be
able to get more covers. He stated to me that I would have to pay for
them. Then when I called down I was told that I did not have to pay for
them. So I was a little upset about that.
No fridge and no free wifi when we wanted to check in, after midnight
the put us in unbelievably bad smelling smoking rooms on the ground
floor. Being allergic was no reason to give us other room " nothing
else was available". However threatening to move to a different
hotel finally did do the trick and we got a normal room. Extending our
stay with 2 extra days required a completely new booking and a trip down
to guest services desk, a phonecall was not good enough.
Price in weekend can be very unfriendly.
they pumpwd the air-cons on the lobby to freezing temperatures to keep the ppl awake so they could gamble for longer, but it was just too cold once we stepped out of our room. air-con in the room was super loud as well, even at the lowest setting.
This trip the pool was closed at 6:00 so I did not like that. I needed
to use the hotub after playing softball for the whole weekend.
don't like the walk from the parking garage to check in. other than that i love staying here.
For such an elaborate exterior, the interior had some good decorating, but did not do a great job at pulling me into the midevil theme, some costumed staff would have been great.
we didn't win any money!.
People smoking in the hotel. Staff at dicks bar were rude at times.
every thing was so friendly thank you.
No wifi in the rooms or the hotel. Could steal MGMs sometimes. Not enough $5 tables.
Too much smoke in casino area, wish there was a non-smoking section. Some staff members were friendly, some so-so. We would usually go to our room around 9-10, smoke would get heavier & noise level much too loud.
The pool closes a bit early.
We wished the prices in the fun dungeon were cheaper, and that on the
carnival games you should be able to win a small prize for just paying,
and be able to.trade so many small prizes for a lrger prize through all
games. Not only where the prize came from. And valet parking was full
and closed when we arrived at 11pm on a thursday night. So we had to
park really far and carry a sleeping 5 year old and 14 month old. And
all our bags.
No WiFi in the room, only at the lobby. Noisy air-conditioner. No fridge.
the company that tries to sell you show tickets. We were consistently pressured by them.
I would have liked for some of the attractions to be open a bit earlier such as the arcade. The furniture could use updating as it seemed quite old, but was still very functional.
