What people say

We stayed at the MGM Grand because of the PAC 12 Basketball tournament. Everything was convenient to the Garden Arena. We liked the buffet, the restaurants & the food court near the Arena. We loved the room & the bed was the best we have slept on in a hotel. We enjoyed KA, excellent entertainment. The Concierge was very helpful. The bellhops efficiently stored our suitcases before & after check in. We felt that the Garden Arena did a wonderful job of hosting the PAC 12. We have a.
all reviews The Staff was courteous and efficient. Excellent facilities and everything was very clean. I will recommend the M G M to all my friends. i would like to commend the security department. I was away from the hotel and missed my check book. I called security and they were kind enough to check in my room and found it on the table. It was quite a relief as I was about to cancel my checking account. These are the things that mean a lot to guests. Thank you for a great vacation.... I will cer. We had a wonderful time at MGM Grand. Me and my husband are usually very picky on the hotels, however we didn't find anything we could criticise :-). This hotel is one of the largest and nicest in LV and everything there was to a very high standards - the rooms were huge with a magnificent view and also super clean. They had 4 or 5 different swimming pools with different themes and music for each one. Lots of different restaurants, shops, bars, and etc.would definitely stay there again and would. I travel quite a bit and usually am not the one to rave about hotels but the MGM is truly fantastic - customer service / E-mail requests were answered within 24hours & while we were there the staff called every day to check if everything's fine! The hotel itself is huge and has all the facilities and amenities you expect from a Vegas hotel! Rooms are big n clean and the price was definitely a case of 'value for money'!Will definitely come back!. Everything!! The breakfast buffet was out of this world, literally anything you could possibly want for breakfast was available at the buffet. The rooms were extremely comfortable & luxurious considering the very reasonable prise, the staff could not have been more helpful & the whole experience was incredible! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody considering visiting Vegas. I liked the options of early check in and late check out. I liked the fact that there are enough events and attractions and at the actual hotel that you really don't have to leave tje area. Plenty of resturants. Thearters. Shows etc...my husband and I enjoyed the comfortable rooms we never wanted to leave our room. Looking forward to returning soon. Well priced and located. The whole hotel was very clean and room was well kept. Eventhough smoking was allowed in the casino like any other Vegas hotel, there was no disturbing smell at all. Considering, it is free to enter other hotels and their amenities, there is no need to spend extra money.Last thing, the ppol was very nice as well. Slight problem at check in was immediately resolved. Staff was wonderful. Sent complimentary chocolate covered strawberries to the room for our anniversary. The room was extremely comfortable. We want your pillows :) The slots didn't break us the first night. I love whatever sweet smell that was in the hotel and casino. Always fresh. Great place to begin with on The Strip in Vegas! Booked an amazing deal for two nights through letsbookhotel.com. Don't be deceived by the rather not-so-sexy building outlook as compared to other hotels on The Strip, the room has been refurbished - it's spacious, well maintained, nice and clean. The room was beautiful, like a mini suite. The bathroom had 2 showers & 2 sinks so getting ready to go out was so much better time wise. All the employees were so helpful & friendly. The prices on the room were ok because 1 night was good & the next very much higher. MGM Grand was a good place to stay. Well decorated, comfortable bed, monorail station a plus(as it is a little bit further out), lots of restaurants - everything you need under one roof. Lots of poolside chairs - meaning you dont have to scramble to save one in the morning. I dont like Las Vegas and the hotels at Las Vegas ( too expensive, hidden costs, ...) but I was surprised by MGM Hotel : less hidden costs than the other ones, rooms comfortable, free parking, on the whole a good experience and the Rolling Stones playing at MGM Arena ... If you advertise 5 swimming pools and a 1000 ft lazy river and the facility isnt open then you dissapoint the young children who you were trying to attract in the first place, which of course then dissapoints the parents who booked the hotel for specifically that reason. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were very nice and clean. Beds very comfortable. The bathrooms very well supplied with towels. Loved the magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly. The shops were very handy and well stocked. I loved my stay there. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. Hotel was value for money, plenty of entertainment and restaurants about and was very impressed with the fact that you could get the monorail from the hotel!. We liked how the hotel immediately changed our room when we called in to let them know that the non-smoking room we were given smelled like smoke and was incredibly stuffy and hidden away. We loved lounging by the pool all day and found all the staff super friendly. MGM is ideal for those who want clean, luxury vegas strip casino experience at a reasonable price. Unlike those across the street that are more price friendly, but you they felt more used and kinda dirty. MGM was clean, smelled great (no smoke smell) and was fun. Suite room was luxurious! The bed was really comfortable, big bathroom with large enough bath for two people, design of the room was modern without being too much, definitely worth the money. They even have free wifi every where in the hotel for multiple devices. MGM Grand is AMAZING. The staff were friendly and helpful, but I really didn't need much help with anything as everything was easy to find, and you will not get bored in this resort. I stayed in a tower spa suite and it was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The lovely man named Alan was kind enough to notice that it was our 7 anniversary. He made every effort to give us an upgrade. Our experience at MGM brand surpassed our expectation we would not dream of going anywhere else in Las Vegas. Excellent room with a view of strip. Lots of things to explore in the hotel. Pool area was large, however, avoid the lazy river if you don't want to feel like you're in Ibiza! Good location on strip. Room prices were pretty good value. Staff was very friendly and accomodating upgraded rooms in Grand Tower at no charge to encourage repeat visit as we were only in for one night and original booking we made was in the west tower (longer distance from epicentre). High class perfect hotel, everywhere you look and everything you get there is top class! Very good buffet, enjoyed Copperfield show a lot, hakkasan club in hotel is just top class. As well as rooms very nice big and clean... Location is good, night clubs with famous djs (there were Tiesto, Calvin Harris and Deadmau5 during three nights that we spent there), plenty of beautiful ladies on highest heels, atmosphere, David Copperfield show, UFC. Excellent customer service: we were offered a room change due to loud construction work in front of our room. The help was prompt and extremely smooth sending a staff member with the card to open the new room instantly. The location was fantastic and the amenities in the hotel were second to none! A great range of restaurants, bars, shops, attractions, pools and casino. I would defiantly stay at the mgm again. Great value for money. Everything!! Marc at the check in area (conceirge was so excellent) professional and accommodating !! The bottle of champagne delivered to the room on the occasion of my sons 21 st birthday was a special touch!!. - Immense size of lobby/casino - contemporary furniture in hotel room - variety of restaurants - great location - shows -- comedy, theatre, singers, etc. - easy in-house access to local transit's monorail. Everything was amazing from the room to the beautiful pool area ..location good a bit of walking required to see the strip but you need that !! Amazing beds and helpful staff we would definitely go back. Rooms were good value and quiet hotel in good spot to appreciate the 'strip' and close to airport staff at reception and concierge area friendly and helpful plenty of eating places and buffet good value. Good hotel, very close to the airport and to the main attractions of the strip. The hotel has very much attractions, like the casino and great shows. The rooms are big, clean and very well decorated. Loved the decor of the spa suite Loved the space in the room Loved the price !! Loved that the lady at the front desk gave us a late checkout when we got back to the hotel after a night out at 4am. Front desk very accomadating when I asked for them to clean r room after we woke up late n left for the day at 3 in the afternoon. Was nice to come back to a clean room w fresh bedding n towels. Staff was very friendly, we booked baby crib but they didn't place it to the room. When we asked for it they  brought it in few minutes and as apology they offer us a free breakfast buffet. Little check-in wait time despite long line. Quick check-out desk in lobby in the morning - it takes 5 seconds, no paperwork needed. Had a petite room; still spacious. Very modern room design. Stayed in the Tower Spa Suite...best room I've ever had in Vegas. The spa bathtub is so luxurious and everything about the room is wonderful. If you can get a good deal I highly recommend it. Well appointed rooms, very clean and comfortable, luxurious. Loved the scent of vanilla throughout. Great dining choices and fun shopping. The staff is friendly and the hotel is beautiful!. We really liked the location..start of the strip..near shops..lots of restaurant choices in house..very quiet rooms..mono-rail station adjacent...fabulous outdoor pools..very helpful staff.. The room was great, the view wonderful. All the staff members I had interactions with were marvelous -very friendly, helpful and courteous. The restaurants at MGM we tried were tried great. The hotel was big and beautiful! It catered more towards the younger crowd. The music in the lobby gives that away. It had just about everything you could ask for and more. Loved our room!. The location is excellent, the staff great and the room was lovely. Pretty good value overall. I think it may have seen better days though. The variety of restaurants was very good. The clean air. Didn't smell smoke in the gambling areas. Great ventilation systems. Great shows. Pizza in underground was spectacular :). All staff were professional and courteous. Very convenient direct access onto Strip, stylish room, very comfortable bed. Reasonable value for such a prime location, despite resort fee. Fast phone checkout excellent. The hotel´s very guest friendly and guests are mostly young. The facilities are very good and the service is great! The pool is amazing and the restaurants are really good too. Overall a great hotel with every service available. Large rooms very comfortable some available overlooking the strip well worth paying the 15 dollars per night extra. The hotel was great location there is a bus stop not far from hotel which takes you all along strip too. Good buffet breakfast and shows hosted there. Pool area great. The location was perfect; the room was amazing-especially the bathroom-size, make-up mirror etc! The bed was really comfortable; room was huge, with a nice view... Absolutely everything, the room was stunning, the staff were friendly, great location on the strip-close to lots of other casinos and FANTASTIC value for money!!!. Lots of pools to choose from... Noisy, quiet, kid friendly elevators were quick. Nice friendly front desk people. Thick towels. Big rooms. Lots of dining options. Great location and facilities. Good attractions and access to other locations was excellent. Great food at choice locations and the shows at hotel was excellent!. At the Garden Arena, the statistics should have been on all four screens, instead of two. We couldn't see either because one was above us, and one was blocked by the center screen. Their isn't a need for the other two to show the game, because it is all shown on the center screen. The negative thing was that the price we payed was a bit higher than expected. They have $100 hotel fee which is being automatically added to every reservation. I must have not noticed it on the website... However it was worth to pay this amount cause the hotel and the service was great!. The only negative thing that I could possibly say was the fact that I didn't stay for a few days longer, but there's always next time!!. The variaty of the retaurants and shops could have been better. We really suffered for the breakfast. Also, make sure that you mention you are a hotel guest when ever you do something otherwise you will never get the discounts cause the staff doesn't ask you. The buffet was a little overpriced and no discount for hotel guests. Would like to see a non smoking slot area. Check in/out could be faster. Hot water/coffee maker could be made available in the room. Direction labels could be clearer, E.G. we thought West Entrance is at West Tower, but it isn't the case. A lot of walking & we needed more signs telling us which way to go to save on going the wrong way. No airport shuttle No tea/coffee making facilities Very noisy neighbours - could hear everything through the door between the rooms Expensive food Expensive everything actually No wine glasses or corkscrew in the room - had to pay for each glass and corkscrew and had to pay a service charge on top! Feel like they purposefully did not include the basics to screw every last cent out of you. internet on the room not so efficicient. No swimming pool as advertised. The Michael Buble concert venue was very time consuming on entering and exiting. Took way too long to get in and out. If there had been an emergency, lots of people would have been trampled or worse. Loved the concert though! The gambling areas were very spread out with not enough slot machines in each section. Ps... Loosen up those machines! I very seldom saw anyone winning and inciting excitement!. wifi access was poor, i had no connection in the room ( eventhough upon booking the resort fee of $125 included free wifi access in room) smoking was allowed throughout the hotel except in some room areas. We were appalled by the room we were initially placed in. It was in the north tower which had its own dinky little entrance which led to an extremely stuffy and narrow hallway. Our original room was boiling hot, smelled like smoke and had a view of a wall that was literally 3 feet away from us. We felt kind of offended to have that be deemed the value of our money. Room was almost quite Walls are kinda thin It's vegas but ya gotta sleep too! Didnt tell me about the 200 deposit on room plus, add that with tax and resort fee...gets a bit much, when not expected. None!. I have no complaints about this hotel. Drinks were soooo expensive, ridiculously expensive. But then again, that's a similiar story across Vegas. One example was the cocktails at the pool costing $17! a beer was $8. I can't justify spending that kind of money on drinks. They charge beverages from mini bar even if you don't drink them, but just take them out and put them back! This is ridiculous!. The queue to check in on arrival. We waited in line for an hour just to check in. A bottle of water cost $5.41 at the pool .... seriously????. - Feather pillows in hotel room(they were removed and bedding changed upon request due to allergy. I had entered this request on my reservation - hotel said they did not receive request?) - smoking allowed throughout lobby & casino - YUK! - pricey buffet $30+. No coffee making facility ....that's all. Staff in one of restaurants more interested in shifting products possibly on a commission basis than looking after customers the preferential treatment for 'invited guests'. The food variety is problematic, although there are a lot of good restaurants - you have to choose between expensive food or junk. We didn't find any option in between. For the price we paid, we expected more services to the guests, such as landromats. We had to walk about one hour to find one. Got lost in the hotel more than once (as the lions have gone my old reference point) Works going on during the day inside the casino. Wish they had a larger fridge to put r own drinks in. I moved out a drink in fridge n they charged me for two. I know those fridges r very sensitive but if I bring drinks or food back to room I wud like to store it or warm it up in a microwave. There's nothing wrong about the hotel, but Las Vegas with 10 months old baby isn't very good idea. There is so many thinks to do but are not suitable for babies. Confusing signage in the hotel area to find West Wing. Sure, you expect bad/no signage in the casino area, but not the hotel guest area. Very long walkways on thick carpet; makes pulling suitcases hard. TV checkout did not work. The only problem was the television would loose it's signal quite often. Nothing..!. No place for breakfast except the buffet or Starbucks with extra long lines was a bummer. It may have been the time of year but the smell cleaning solutions as soon as one walked into the building where there was carpet was almost overpowering initially. Be prepared for a long line at check in. Ice machines were way too far away from our room. It was a little pricy for just about everything. The business centre was a joke, expensive and useless as itr was unable to print emails but kept running up the bill at $1 per minute. The TV froze twice, the internet was out overnight on the day I needed it most. The basin in the bathroom wouldn't drain and the light in the mirror was quite probably the dumbest idea I have ever seen in a bathroom. Getting lost. It is huge, didn't get to see the whole place. Did see lady's of the night asking for business from individuals heading to their rooms; think that should be watch a little more....but what goes on in Vegas stays in Vegas :). "Free" parking and wifi covered by $25/day "resort fee" on top of room rate. 10 minute hike through huge casino complex from car park to room. Quite easy to get lost! Gloomy lighting in room, no tea/coffee in room. Breakfast buffet was set price Monday to Thursday then went up weekends so if you only wanted breakfast wasn't really getting good value for money should be an option so you can just pay for a breakfast. Not enough plug sockets in the living/bedroom area, restaurants, bars etc. far too expensive... If I had to complain about one thing, the doors are really heavy in the casino itself. Water pressure in shower was awful, room service was so slow, never cleaned the room, but we got reimbursed nicely. :) No coffee makers in the room! Bad Maybe more shops and hated 5.00 monorail ride. Checkout system and billing for resort fee of $25/day (3 days bill) after paying $25 cash for using the spa for 1 day! I dont get it. Next time I would be sure to checkout in person and not use the auto checkout system.
