The price was excellent for two adults staying two nights in Las Vegas!! We spent most of our time at the Mandalay Bay Resort where most of my family was gathered for my neice's wedding. Staying at Howard Johnson's allowed us to stay within our budget, and to be a 5 minute drive from the hotel where all of our events were. Very convenient.all reviews
Cleaner then expected, the staff was very friendly. They helped us out
even though letsbookhotel.com never placed the reservation until we called
letsbookhotel.com customer service and then the staff was able to
accommodate us.
This hotel was very clean and close to the strip. We walked over to MGM Grand in just a couple of minutes. It was great! The price was excellent for what we got.
The location was perfect, in less than 10 min walking you get to MGM and all the other hotels.
The room was clean, confortable and had a hairdryer.

For the price, I really have nothing to complain about! It would have been nice, I guess, to have a guide for the TV channels, as there was a ShowTime Guide on the dresser, but we were unable to locate any premium channels.
We didn't have a shower curtain when we checked in and letsbookhotel.com
didn't make the reservation for us.
There was nothing we did not like.
The door of my room did not closed well, so when you get out of the room, you have to close the door like seven times before it closes.
Its too bad that it looks like they maybe short of business, cause there wasn't too many travelers.

Poor room service. One day they didn't even clean our room.
Wall outlet didn't work so the phone/alarm clock didn't work. The sink faucet was also really messed up (very small, super-pressurized stream came out). A/C worked ok, but not great. Parking lot did not feel super safe - but its Vegas, the whole city doesn't feel safe.
Staff were very young and not particularly helpful. Internet was useless
- very frustrating. Don't use a pre-paid currency card for your $200
deposit as your funds remain 'held' even after the hotel has
released them...
Hard beds.
First thing took a shower, no washcloths, didn't like having to make
$100 refundable deposit. Was not told up front about it and made for
feeling of whether the area was safe or not.

Too noisy. I was awaken due to noise of some guests!! Could not figure
out where the sound is from.

The cleanliness of the room, especially the restroom toilet was broke,
leaking water & kept wanting to overflow. The girl at front desk
said there were no more rooms available, did nothing to accommodate
better so I think she expected me to deal with it but the maintenance
girl came back with another room to accommodate so she sure found us
another room. The fact the front desk girl lied!!.
-Staff made error on final bill and tried to charge more than letsbookhotel.com rate.
-Room was barely clean (sheets had stains and bathroom floor was dirty)
-Had shampoo for hair but no conditioner.
Falsely advertised, small and dirty, cigarette burns and some of the
staff were rude. Pool dirty.
