Unbeatable location on the Strip: walking distance to all the attractions, and quite close to the Bellagio fountain in particular. The room was clean, and the bed was large and comfortable. Everything was nice, and very good value for the money. One thing that deserves a particular mention is the excellent free Wi-Fi (both in-room coverage and the speed were very good, it appears the motel has some 20 hotspots). The buffet breakfast was an added plus, and so was the friendly service at the rece.
all reviews » We were able to drop our bags off before checking in, the pool(s) and hot tub(s) were great and open 24/7 (except for during a rain storm of course) . Not sure if this is a plus or a minus but this hotel is extremely family friendly which was not what we expected. It's also around the corner from the start of the strip (luxor/mgm grand area) and while "around the corner" in Vegas is still pretty far, the location was great for the price. Also room service was always super quick and friendly. Location is fabulous. Right amongst the festive LV strip shows and displays. Next to 7-eleven and similar stores and also upmarket Miracle Miles shops. Public transport is at doorstep. Big car parking, big sized rooms. Breakfast timing 6 to 9 makes it possible to have breakfast before going for the Grand Canyon tours. We were two girls staying for the weekend to see Will I Am at XS. Location was fantastic ! The room was spacious and clean with two double beds that were very comfortable. The price for two nights was excellent value. It's a basic room - but all we needed as we were out most of the weekend . Would def stay here again. The free upgrade of rooms was great, very happy. Travelodge is on the Strip, just in front of Aria complex, thus you can just walk from there at every time of the day and night. Not really an issue with the motel itself, but expect that some people staying there might be partying loud well into the night (happened on one of the two nights we stayed there). The elevator area smelled like vomit our entire stay (stuck in the carpeting?) and the AC was working but a bit weak. There are 3 restaurants in this small hotel, two are adjacent (not even separated by a wall, just separate areas) and are basically just a Hooters and a Hooters for 21+. Outside look of the hotel. Dwarved by the surrounding towers of 5 star casinos like Planet Hollywood, Polo Tower, Aria, Excalibur, NYNY and what not! Only one elevator to go upstairs, inconvenient for rooms far from it. We checked out at 12pm and left our luggage until our departure time of 230pm - we required a small room to change into our uniform for work as a flight attendant - but this couldn't be accommodated . We had to change in the restrooms of the airport !. Bathroom Toilet did not function very well. A £200 payment was held under a cash card that was only used for our room payment. It was not taken from the credit card that was reserved for mistaken payments as such. It left one of us with no funds for the rest of our trip in America due to the time scale in which it took the money to get back into the account, we were very very upset. ... seal well the petrol tank access of your car, unfortunatelly, we had noticed much less of petrol on the next morning. Breakfast: the breakfast room was crowded and it was impossible to eat there, so we had to take our food back to the bedroom to sit and eat. Nothing, it was all top notch. Remote wasnt working. Rooms face the balcony/passageway, have to close the curtains when in the room. The noise!. You have to draw the curtains completely in the night to avoid being flashed by blinking neons but this is LV - you dont go there for relaxing silence though. A bit poor breakfest. Elevator was not working. Nothing. The constant smell, which is unpleasant, but if you accept low fees, everything is OK. There was a noise from the outside at the second night I stayed there. Breakfast room was too small for the number of guests. the only negative thing about the room was the air conditioner is really outdated so it was extremely loud. Ac was loud but they all are. The shower went cold and hot. Breakfast was minimal. Would not recommend L.V. Strip for children or teens-way too many people handing out porn strip club cards. Needed a fridge in the heat. The cockroaches in the bathroom! Hotel was very noisy with other guests walking past the rooms. Being charged to use the safe. The bathroom was in urgent need of repair. It was difficult to find along the strip. Initially we arrived at the wrong location and were told the wrong directions to the Travelodge we booked with. As there are 3 locations in Vegas on the strip make sure you've got the address and nearest intersections down before blowing into town. D'oh!. - A bit noisy at times. I know it's Vegas but if you stay at Caesar's you can stumble home and have a peaceful sleep. Here, you may wake to people yelling at each other or someone with their car speakers blaring. Not so bad that it would deter me from staying again. No fridge and microwave in the room. No iron. Breakfast hours. Air condition was very loud. Daily charge for safe, which you have to decline to pay. Nothing for the price. There weren't any sheers in our room as I like to see the sunlight during the day. It would also stop others from looking in to the room. breakfast room is too small for the size of inn.. Needed water filters too along with Ice machines. Some soft drink machines did not work but these are petty things compared to the comfort and relaxation received at this hotel. Didn't look like online picture. Hard to find at night very frustrating - I circled block several times, it is hidden behind and between other businesses. Furniture could definitely use upgrading (ie, Towel racks were about to fall off, old lamps). Card owner was not contacted before charging for some unknown services. Room for breafast is very small, not enough chairs and tables. A/C was rather noisy in room. Kitchen too small & congested of a morning. Breakfast just had the basics.
