I was attending the trade show at the lv Convention Center. The hotel is 1 long block away from convention center. I parked my car for 2 days, free, and walked to center each day. Most convenient when considering the long cab lines at the center or the crowded buses provided by show management. I arrived early am the day of my first night after driving 4 hours and they gave me a room at 10:00 am allowing me to freshen up before walking to the center. Kudos to the check-in staff member. NICK. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with plenty drawer and hanging space. The bed was comfortable and clean. The towels were changed every day and the room was cleaned daily. The situation of the hotel for the price paid was very good. Within easy walking distance of the tail end of the strip. Bus stops for the strip and downtown just outside the hotel entrance. The Hotel met our needs with a large double King bed room, wife and dughter enjoyed the pool, we ate at the Hotels restaurant and the food was very good and well priced, we were offered a discounted price for a show at the Hotel since we were guests, easy check in and out. This was a bit older Hotel with not all the flash of "Vegas". The staff was especially helpful. At the last minute I had to sign and fax back a legal document to a business. The female at the front desk was very helpful, allowing me to print out the document and then fax it using the hotel fax to send it off. This saved me a great amount of time and it was of the essence. Excellent bed and pillows. Large room. Simple but clean bathroom with a good shower. Quiet and the beverage prices are less then half of what you pay around the corner on The Strip. I have no complaints for the price I paid. As long as you're not expecting luxury you're more than fine. The staff is great. Very helpful and accommodating. The location is incredibly convenient and there is enough nearby that you aren't forced to pay an exorbitant amount for food or other necessities.even their on site snack bar doesn't have a ridiculous mark up. if you are going to a trade fair at the convention centre the position/price can't be betterd. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable and very well maintained every day. The 7 minute walk to the centre is great and you are outside of the madness which is LV. I chose the hotel as they dont charge a resort fee, which otherwise adds a lot to the low starting price. The price was perfect and the hotel had everything I needed. The interior of the hotel and rooms is little bit older, but still ok for the price paid. It was very affordable with everything you need to stay the night! Right off the strip easy access to the monorail, bus and taxi's even a small casino and shows. Super value little hidden gem for the non-snooty easy to please crowd!. Great value & location. Bed was comfortable. Shower was very nice since water temperature can be adjusted just how you like it. Thing that sold me was that it contains a mini refrigerator which a small working ice tray. Josh was very helpful at the front desk. We really liked him and I told the manager too. The price was great to sleep and shower there as we played the rest of the day. We stayed here because of the 2 King size beds. The check in staff was friendly not because that was their job but truely friendly,helpful and did their job well. The resturant food was so-so but the wait staff was very good. I will come back for another stay. Stayed in a double king room. Good rate, no resort fee, free internet. Just off the strip. For us the room was big+clean room that looked south at the strip - exactly what we wanted. Perfect!!!. The hotel was better i thought it be honest, the beds were really comfortable , the front desk staff was very nice and friendly. If you are looking for something cost effective, stay here. The staff was helpful and friendly, especially Katie who really went out of her way for us in a pleasant happy way. Helped us with directions and stuff. So did Carolina. The location was great, right near the Las Vegas strip and for the price you couldn't beat it!!! And the rooms themselves were very clean, I'd recommend it!!!. They were very accommodating. I made a reservation online maybe 20 minutes before and they let me check in immediately and there were no issues with the room. i liked everything at the hotel we stayed there both times we took our vacation in vegas and will stay there again very friendly atmosphere and staff loved it. really enjoyed stay had no problems housekeeping very friendly and helpful. front desk friendly and polite. would recommend and refer to family and friends. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and really go the extra mile to make sure that you are taken care of. It's in fairly good shape for the price as well. This is a wonderful location so close to the convention center. Why not do some basic cosmetics (paint the lobby) for example?. Great value. Received two complimentary tickets to a show at the hotel. Located between the strip and the Fremont Street area. Extremely convenient to Las Vegas Convention Center - 3 blocks (5 minute walk) away. Great bed and pillows had a great sleep. The casino is a joke but I don't gamble so I really didn't care. Air conditioning in some rooms is alittle old. The hotel needs renovated and updated. The furnishings and carpets need renewed and the pool water looked rather murky. The restaurant (when open) was ok. but rather unreliable. They need some more upkeep and cleaning of the public bathrooms near the lobby/theater, they charge a couple ezxtra dollara a day to park in threir structure vs the open lot. I hate to say it, but the water in the toilet is much too high. It comes in contact with men... Though not in terrible shape, the place could stand a facelift. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but look to have last been refurnished in the 80s. The public areas need improving. If the "lounge" had a little more effort put into it it would be an OK place to sit, as it is its poor. Shame you can now only eat breakfast in the dining area if you take the buffet. I didn't want to eat in the bar/lounge area. The corridors smelled little bit, but nothing terrible. Had Air Conditioner at full blast and didn't seem to chill up the place even though it was Nov. Every time we would arrive to our room it would be pretty hot. Good luck to summer visitors TV itself was pretty much horrible, looked like an 80's/90's TV. Internet was EXTREMELY slow considering it's in a location where fiber cable is supported. Guess they don't have fiber cable. The carpets were dirty. They turned the bottom of my feet black. I was in room 212. Plus, upon departure, I was stripping the bedding as I always do to help housekeeping and thank goodness for the "thick" mattress cover as the mattress was very disgusting. I am glad I didn't look the first day. Yuck!. Give yourself 10 minutes to check in or out if you're at peak times. I think this rule applies to any place in vegas. The resturtant service was slow i admit. I hate to see it when it was busy, the manager was nice enough to lower meal price though at least without asking.One of the elevators didnt work. If you stay here, get monorail tickets, walking to strip can be a pain alittle from here. The pool was also closed. There was no restaurant. We don't do vending machine food. It was a bit dated but overall would recommend because it was clean!!!. The advertised "food court" is really just a bunch of vending machines with seats and tables next to them. There was this guy working in the cashiers cage that was astoundingly rude that is literally my only complaint. The tv, Phone and Internet were not working. Only other complaint is that the halls and lobby are so dingy. The room was a lot nicer than the entry. Why not put a little cash into the looks of the place. It is a jewel for location. No Continental breakfast offered. Older hotel in need of some updating. Lobby and restaurant area is tired. Hotel didn't have the capability of accepting government issued credit cards. The pool area needs attention. We used the area a couple of times and the toilets hadn't been cleaned and everything was dusty. The parking not to great, but it will do. Maybe a bigger casino. The air conditioning system is old and insufficient and appearance of facilities is dingy - needs updating. Restaurant would be rated as poor - insufficient staff and poorly cooked food. Casino, restaurant, lobby and restrooms were dusty and not real clean. little out of date furnishing... no safety deposit in the room. hotel was outdated, cigarette burns in carpet- 2 towels - something was weird with the electricity- my apple laptop wouldn't charge in the room - tried every plug. We were on the 2nd floor- it seemed odd to me that we couldn't take the stairs to the lobby- I suppose there's a security issue. Stains in rugs and on curtains, due for renos, wifi weak except in bathroom. enjoyed it all!. Had to walk quiet a ways to the strip. Didn't have up to date casino machines. We haven't got any problem :). Because the Casino allowed smoking, the smell was noticeable in most parts of the hotel. Nothing. There was nothing I didn't like I was very very pleased. The outside looked depressing with windows boarded. Scary looking people hanging around the entrance. That said, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room. Elevator and lobby could use an update. the restaurant closed. Restaurant closed, 'casino' is just a few machines.
