The room we stayed in was a gold room, clearly refurbished to a high standard. Luxurious room with a view out over the gardens and down to the sea. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Ideally placed for a five minute walk down into the harbour where there is a range of bars and clubs. There is a slight hill walk down and back up to the hotel but we didnt find it that bad although it could be for the less agile. All in all a fantastic stay and we will definitely stay again.

we stayed in one of the lodges. very quiet, very comfortable and spacious 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Introduced my wife and young daughter to the driving range and now they are both hooked! After reading some of the reviews, I was a little dubious but we arrived, checked in and it was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean and well stocked - we even had a fan which was much appreciated over the very hot weekend. The whole experience was fantastic from check in to leaving. We were greeted with a lovely smile . We stayed in Tren apartment. Which had everything you could possibly need. Just everything, I think perhaps they upgraded my single room. The view from the window was just stunning, breakfast was SO good, properly hand made using good ingredients, just such a treat to stay there. Staff were friendly, and helpful, the décor was lovely, ditto the room. I'd stay there again, no question of that, and such a perfect location

The hotel was very comfortable and staff friendly. The general atmospher was upmarket , with both guests and staff very polite. I have mobility problems and when I asked for a room near the lift , my request was instantly granted. I would thoroughly recommend a balcony room and the food was absolutely delicious.
