Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and courteous - they seemed happy to be working there. The house and rooms were beautifully decorated and clean and comfortable as well. loved the frendlyness of the staff and fantastic food, - Delightful setting, staying at the village pub enhanced the experience of rural England. Food in the restaurant was excellent, and there was a selection of good real ale. Staff were fantastic, and the rooms clean and cosy. Our bathroom was across the hall, but didn't detract from the stay.
