Personable and friendly service. Excellent breakfast choice and incredibly tasty, compliments to the Chef.! Home from home feel that made our stay even more enjoyable and we did spend a fair amount of time in the Hotel due to some grim weather. The Hampton's is a lovely place to stay. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. and a fantastic breakfast. What more could one ask for?!. all reviews »

Beautiful furnishings and very friendly owner and staff. It was a fabulously luxurious hotel, just as listed. A charming place to stay. all of it was great. staff very nice. We thought the hotel was excellent and the hosts and staff made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was always spot on and well presented with a good variety to cater for all tastes. The interior design and the furnishings were beautiful. There has been a lot of thought and care put into the hotel and we wish Janine and Paul all the best for the future. Very clean and well maintained hotel with some great views out over Ilfracombe, staff were excellent and very welcoming. We had one of their smaller rooms, which was very comfortable and well layed out with everything we needed, I only wish we could have stayed longer!. Beautiful "boutique" style Hotel, Paul and Janinne were perfect hosts, our room was beautiful, clean and superb views, I would recomend this hotel as a favourite... Amazing. Excellent room and very helpful, pleasant staff. Also excellent information provided by the owners regarding resort and restaurants etc.We stayed in the Chantily room which was amazing; it was beautifully decorated, luxurious and had a wonderful view across Ilfracombe. Lovely and individualised rooms, friendly owners. Very child friendly. I would definately recommend this hotel to family and friends.Very friendly owners/staff and exceptionally clean, Breakfast wasfantastic and our room was great. Friendly greetings and freindly staff. Good room and food.the hosts made us so welcome and were veary freindly. The Hotel was beautifully decorated. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Local restaurants were recommended and all proved to be good.Beautiful room, good position, friendly owners. attention to detail and friendliness. Decor, friendly staff. The staff were friendly and hospitable. The breakfasts were superb. Anyinformation needed was no problem for them to find out.stylish and welcoming. friendly approachable hosts, stylish decor, good all round. Nice, helpful, friendly people. Good atmosphere, comfortable. Good breakfast. The hotel was clean and well decorated with attention to detail - like the cover on the TV cables in the 'lounge'. Unique Boutique was the self definition and design considerations featured throughout. I was keen to avoid a jaded hotel and the sameness of rooms in a Holiday Inn when taking my mother away for a weekend break and this fitted the bill.Relaxing atmosphere and stylish decor in room and around the hotel. Friendly Hosts, Beautiful Decor, Very nice breakfasts. I cannot fault this hotel and staff. Instead of instant coffee, better to have a small cafetiere in the room with sachets of real coffee. Some guests (like us) would like to have a cup of decent coffee in the early morning before breakfast.Shower wasn't very good. Nothing we didn't like. One comment only, maybe a Sunday paper wouldhave been the icing on the cake. The car parking - access rather trickey. access is tricky. difficult entrance for vehicles. Not really suitable for anyone with mobility problems [stairs; and the very nice bath with shower in Chantilly Room occupieded by my mother was not accessible to her - a grab rail or shower mat not being in keeping with the style]. Ornaments, glass, mirrors and lacquer furniture means it is less child friendly. I had The Sanderson room. The ensuite was fine but I did not really like the room.
