  As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Paul and he helped me and my partner with our bags and offered us drinks. When I went outside to the garden to get my tea there was yummy banana cake and biscuits for us too! Just what you need after a long drive!  The room we stayed in was cosy, comfy and spacious and had a luxury bathroom which was small... what people say » but you’re not in there for long so we did not care. It had everything we needed. The B&B also has a lovely quite garden area where my partner co - Fair winds is a fantastic place to stay, Paul and Gill are friendly, easily approachable hosts, on arrival we were greeted with coffee and biscuits and they both had time to spend with us chatting, the guest house is spotlessly clean and has a fantastic breakfast choice and we were very spoilt for choice. Its dealy situated for exploring the towns/ villages around torbay, I would deffinatly recommend fair winds to friends/family.

  Friendly, very clean, nice little individual touches, I had the impression that nothing was to much trouble, liked to use local quality produce, great scrambled egg! the owners obviously enjoy what they do. - The gardens were amazing and the owners couldn't do enough for me.   Extremely friendly and accommodating host & hostess. Very clean property throughout. Breakfast taken in pleasant room, cutlery and crocery of high standard.   Never before we have met such a wonderful couple, who are so dedicated to make their guest house the most wonderful place in Devon as Alistair and Emma. They really made us feel so welcome and therefore we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during our stay. An exellent place on a perfect location for a very good price. We would surely return here again ... what people say » and recommend this lovely place to anyone who is looking for a good guest house in Lynton. Thumbs up! - The owners Emma and Alistair are really lovely. They are most welcoming, helpful and kind. The setting is delightful.The breakfast was great, a range of very tasty choices.There are lots of interesting places to visit nearby, lots of charming walks and the town is most attractive.   I liked everything, they were very welcoming and as I was travelling alone I felt very relaxed there. The room was large and comfy and the dining room was most welcoming. I only had breakfast at the hotel but this was very nice. - Very friendly and service was excellent. All the facilities were excellent and the hotel was in a good location.

  The hosts, Mick and Hazel , have developed an excellent Guest House in Paignton.. I received a very warm and friendly welcome when I arrived. The accommodation was well equipped and perfectly maintained, with a comfortable bed, tea / coffee available in the room as well as a large amount of storage space for clothes etc. A good shower / bathroom... what people say » with soaps, shampoos ... and proper towels! Breakfast had plenty of choice, was well prepared and served very quickly and efficiently. The idea of - Clean comfortable relaxing friendly excellent location in relation to amenities run by a lovely helpfull couple who could not do enough for you, breakfast was excellent. facilities were excellent sun lounge where you could watch the cricket match on the field next door. would recommend this place to everyone,Mike and Hazel madke you feel like one of their friends

  Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. The breakfast selection was amongst the best I have ever had, can you believe they even make their own bread and yogurt! Both of which were simply delicious. I have travelled widely in the UK and if every BandB I stayed in was a good as this I would be a very h... what people say » appy woman.   The room was huge, clean and decorated in good taste. The view from the window was breath taking. The Bed was very big and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, with many washing goodies available. Breakfast offered great choice. Very tasty especially the scrambled eggs and salmon.
