As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Paul and he helped me and my partner with our bags and offered us drinks. When I went outside to the garden to get my tea there was yummy banana cake and biscuits for us too! Just what you need after a long drive!  The room we stayed in was cosy, comfy and spacious and had a luxury bathroom which was small but you’re not in there for long so we did not care. It had everything we needed. The B&B also has a lovely quite garden area where my partner co.
all reviews » Fair winds is a fantastic place to stay, Paul and Gill are friendly, easily approachable hosts, on arrival we were greeted with coffee and biscuits and they both had time to spend with us chatting, the guest house is spotlessly clean and has a fantastic breakfast choice and we were very spoilt for choice. Its dealy situated for exploring the towns/ villages around torbay, I would deffinatly recommend fair winds to friends/family. We received a warm welcome from Gill and Paul, who run Fair Winds. Our room was excellent and, together with the all-included breakfast, provided very good value. The venue is an easy walk from the centre of Brixham, or there is a frequent bus service from outside the front door. We had a most enjoyable stay and would certainly recommend it to others. Alan and Tina. Fairwinds was beautiful, clean and comfortable inside. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered something for everyone and was very nice indeed. We were able to park off the road. There were some soft drinks available to buy if we didn't want to go into town. Very clean and comfortable.pleasant and relaxing decor. Excellent location ten minute walk to harbour and central Brigham with luxury of local bus stopping directly outside. Extremely pleasant hosts superb breakfasts with multiple choices. at fairwinds nothing is to much trouble its very clean breakfast is very good with good choice and is very good value plenty of parking will stay there again when in the area . The welcome,facilities,cleanliness ,food,helpfulness of the owners and all round atmosphere of the place made it a lovely and memorable stay!highly recommended!!!. As we are house hunting the couple who run Fair Winds offered any help with suppliers etc.,. paul and gill are very friendly,,they made us very welcome. the room was excellent clean and tidy..we would defintly stay at fair winds again. Only having to decide what you wanted for breakfast the night before. not applicable. A little noisy from the main road and some persistent seagulls on the beach front !. The slight lack of customer care. we stayed in the front of the house in one of the smaller rooms , which was great however it wad really warm and had to keep the windows open . The noise from the main road was unbearable in the mornings A fan in the room would have been great . On the edge of brixham. Poor wifi in bedroom. Nothing. Small bathroom. Absolutely nothing. Didn't fell very comfortable, thought host would be more understanding as I was honest! Dint appreciate being asked about accident with the fridge but other guest was not asked, not very chatty with us but was with other guests. Our room was at front of house and we were woken on several occasions by drunks passing by and also sitting on the wall outside, could not have windows open in this really hot weather. Large bed in large room with very small en suite bathroom. Heating in room inadequate for extremely low temperatures. very small room mattress uncomfortable difficulty getting front door also ordering breakfast night before. our room was very noisy front on to main road, room was small and not as clean as we would like. The outside facias and soffits were in a terrible state and did not give a good impression.
