  As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Paul and he helped me and my partner with our bags and offered us drinks. When I went outside to the garden to get my tea there was yummy banana cake and biscuits for us too! Just what you need after a long drive!  The room we stayed in was cosy, comfy and spacious and had a luxury bathroom which was small... what people say » but you’re not in there for long so we did not care. It had everything we needed. The B&B also has a lovely quite garden area where my partner co - Fair winds is a fantastic place to stay, Paul and Gill are friendly, easily approachable hosts, on arrival we were greeted with coffee and biscuits and they both had time to spend with us chatting, the guest house is spotlessly clean and has a fantastic breakfast choice and we were very spoilt for choice. Its dealy situated for exploring the towns/ villages around torbay, I would deffinatly recommend fair winds to friends/family.

  This little B&B is in a great location, is spotlessly clean and the proprietors are warmly welcoming. (They went out of their way to help out when I needed it. Bravo Wood - We stayed in the four poster room with view down the hill into the bay from the window. Hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast was a good wide choice of traditional British, with a clean and bright dining area. All in, we seriously enjoyed our stay.

  A lovely warm welcome. Bedroom was very clean and comfortable and complimentary water was a bonus. The staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was a high standard. The position of the hotel makes it an excellent base for exploring the area. There is a footpath leading to the coastal path just minutes from the front of the hotel. The owners work incredibly hard and take great pride in their hotel. We had our evening meal in the hotel and the food was very impressive. The breakfast was good. Excellent value for money. We were able to walk to Greenway House and also walked into Brixham a couple of miles away.

  The views at Beacon House are to die for, from our room, from the breakfast room and from the garden there are magnificent vistas of Brixham Harbour. Nigel was the perfect host with heaps of ideas and suggestions for our stay. A 10 minute walk down the hill and we were at the harbour and town centre, very convenient. Did not have to use our car in... what people say » the two days we were there and I don't think there wasn't too much we didn't get to see. In the three weeks we have been in B&B's around the uk t - The owners, Nigel and Amanda were so friendly and welcomed us both with a pot of tea and homemade flap jack to die for. Nothing was too much trouble. They are new to the area but have embraced Brixham and familiarised themselves with the local history and offer wonderful advice for restaurants and bars. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with everything clean and well maintained and I have never slept in a more comfortable bed. The sun shone in the morning and the views were truly fantastic.

  My daughter and I took my 2 year old grandson to meet my uncle who lives in Brixham. We booked the Anchorage guest house. We had the attic room with a double bed and coffee making facilities also en-suite. The owners Sylvia and Marcus were really friendly and helpfull. Marcus was the chef for breakfast. We would definitely recommend. - we were welcomed with a coffee in the pretty gardens, nothing was too much trouble, the bedroom was comfortable, tastefully decorated with an en-suite shower room,the homecooked breakfasts were excellent, especially the specials which had to be ordered the day before. Marc and Sylwia were very friendly and we will definitely return.

  Very helpful staff. Stayed here as a single female. Large and very comfortable Double/Twin room - I think I was upgraded. Shower only. The noise from the bar was audible until 10.30 but went quiet before I needed to sleep and this was a Friday/Saturday in September. - Lovely fresh cooked breakfast cooked and served by lovely Linda.
