Superb stay at Brookside guest house. Decor & furnishings are of a high standard & facilities are spotless.
Breakfast is absolutely gorgeous with a lot of choice.
The guest house is defiantly worthy of its 5* & I'm delighted we chose this for our weekend stay. The hosts were welcoming, friendly & always there to help. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Paul and he helped me and my partner with our bags and offered us drinks. Fair winds is a fantastic place to stay, Paul and Gill are friendly, easily approachable hosts, on arrival we were greeted with coffee and biscuits and they both had time to spend with us chatting, the guest house is spotlessly clean and has a fantastic breakfast choice and we were very spoilt for choice. Its dealy situated for exploring the towns/ villages around torbay, I would deffinatly recommend fair winds to friends/family.

We stayed in the four poster room with view down the hill into the bay from the window. Hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast was a good wide choice of traditional British, with a clean and bright dining area. All in, we seriously enjoyed our stay.

A lovely warm welcome. Bedroom was very clean and comfortable and complimentary water was a bonus. The staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was a high standard. Well decorated and spotlessly clean. The owners work incredibly hard and take great pride in their hotel. We had our evening meal in the hotel and the food was very impressive. The breakfast was good. Excellent value for money. We were able to walk to Greenway House and also walked into Brixham a couple of miles away.

The owners, Nigel and Amanda were so friendly and welcomed us both with a pot of tea and homemade flap jack to die for. Nothing was too much trouble. They are new to the area but have embraced Brixham and familiarised themselves with the local history and offer wonderful advice for restaurants and bars.

I have never slept in a more comfortable bed.

My daughter and I took my 2 year old grandson to meet my uncle who lives in Brixham. We booked the Anchorage guest house. we were welcomed with a coffee in the pretty gardens,
nothing was too much trouble, the bedroom was comfortable, tastefully decorated with an en-suite shower room,the homecooked breakfasts were excellent, especially the specials which had to be ordered the day before. Marc and Sylwia were very friendly and we will definitely return.

Very helpful staff. Stayed here as a single female. Large and very comfortable Double/Twin room - I think I was upgraded. Shower only. The noise from the bar was audible until 10.30 but went quiet before I needed to sleep and this was a Friday/Saturday in September. -
