Never before we have met such a wonderful couple, who are so dedicated to make their guest house the most wonderful place in Devon as Alistair and Emma. They really made us feel so welcome and therefore we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during our stay. An exellent place on a perfect location for a very good price. We would surely return here again and recommend this lovely place to anyone who is looking for a good guest house in Lynton. Thumbs up!.

The setting is delightful.The breakfast was great, a range of very tasty choices.There are lots of interesting places to visit nearby, lots of charming walks and the town is most attractive. It is a great place to stay. We will certainly return and recommend it to others. Emma and Alistair are the perfect hosts ! I would recommend this guest house to everyone ! Everything is perfect, from the location to the cleanliness. The room is really cosy with great view of the village. Emma and Alistair are really friendly and their advice on activities are more than good ! A real pleasure !. Castle Hill offers a complete package. Owner/staff are pleased to have you stay with them. A silly thing I noticed was a small pair of scissors on the dining table to open the sachets of sauces. There are a lot of little touches which tell me that the proprietors have thought about customer comfort. The welcoming of the host was amazing. We appreciate the large choice of free DVD and the DVD player in the room. The Breakfast was excellent. The view on the village very cute. No noise. The situation in the village is brilliant : near the restaurants and near a big parking. Emma and Allistair are wonderful caring people who would attend any of your request . My husband had to work suddenly during our vacation and they modify their breakfast room into a high speed Internet private business meeting room ; all that free of charge of course :-). Awesome hotel, friendly helpful owners, nearby cheap parking, large well furnished clean rooms, beautiful views, beautiful village, great local restaurants and incredible countryside. Particularly recommend the greenhouse restaurant and walking up from watersmeet. Lovely Victorian building, great location in very pretty area close to beach, southwest coast path, tourist sights etc and crucially, great hosts; Emma and Alastair could not have been more friendly or welcoming. the owners were exceptionally good at their trade and very friendly.the guesthouse was immaculately clean and decorated in the modern style. the variety of breakfasts and quality was excellent. What would help very much is a little refrigerator in the rooms, much more than I-Phone music station. The accommodation is on Lynton Main Street and thus opposite shops which have deliveries early so you hear the traffic. This maybe us as we live in the country and its dead quiet. Also some darker curtains or blackout liners may be an idea. I liked every aspect of this Guest House. Wifi not available in the bedroom. Nothing. nothing. Nothing. Nothing to dislike. Nothing. Lack of car park although public car park very close. Nothing,repeat absolutely Nottingham. Nothing at all. Coming home. Nothing!. no butter ! and boring bread !. Absolutely nothing. not for disable. Nothing.
