    Hotel was easy to find, great for parking, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Staff were first class, friendly and efficient.     We had a room with an amazing see view. Apart from a few scuffs on walls and doors caused by careless guests the room was great. The hotel staff couldn't do enough for us and went out of their way to accommodate our every need. The food was second to none and Nico should be commended for his attentiveness to people's needs and his professionalism... what people say » . Bar staff also need a mention for their efficiency and friendliness. What we call a real holiday! - Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and good restaurants, especially the Italian. If you eat in, you WILL put on weight! Comfortable side room with reasonable view. Very clean, despite the obvious age of the building, which adds to the "antique charm". Enjoyed my few days break and would happily return.

    We all loved everthing about our stay at the hotel. The staff were all very friendly, didn't mind our children making noise or playing around. The room we stayed in was delightful, and at breakfast time the baby's meals arrived all nicely chopped up for him!     A wonderful visit (FlyBe Belfast to Exeter) to a most beautiful region.The hotel in all aspects was excellent, staff courteous, good manners,attentive and good at their jobs. A minor hiccup. - The staff were extremely good and nothing was too much trouble for them - due to staff shortages they were all multi-tasking but the good service was not lost.     we stayed in one of the lodges. very quiet, very comfortable and spacious 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Introduced my wife and young daughter to the driving range and now they are both hooked! Breakfast was excellent as was the clubhouse and swimming pool.     Good Morning. I am not prone to writing such mails but I feel I have to make some comments about a recent stay at your Cliffden Hotel in Teignmouth from Friday 19th July to Sunday 21st. I have to say that having booked the hotel through a proprietary web site, we hadn’t realised the ‘’duality of purpose of the hotel, and were a little surprised to... what people say » meet so many ‘sight impaired’ people. This letter is to convey nothing but highest praise and to say we enjoyed our all too short stay. The tariffs - After reading some of the reviews, I was a little dubious but we arrived, checked in and it was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean and well stocked - we even had a fan which was much appreciated over the very hot weekend. My husband and I are in our 50's and it was our first weekend away with our two dogs. They too were made to feel very welcome.     When arriving at Thornhill I found the owner very friendly and accommodating with my requests. The room was clean tidy and comfortable.     The room was nicely furnished, clean and quiet enough to sleep well - there was some noise outside quite late from passers-by returning home as it was a Friday night, but nothing too disturbing. The reception staff were pleasant and efficient; parking was secure and close by.
