  We had an overnight stay in order to catch an early morning flight next day, It was convenient to the airport, very clean and comfortable. We did not have much contact with the staff, but when we did, they were helpful and polite.. - What an absolute pleasure. There were no problems whatsoever and the use of the sports facilities were very welcome.... what people say » If I could pay the rate of £75 I would stay more frequently.

The hotel although situated on a roundabout, you wouldn't have known it, was in a perfect location for seeing all the beautiful places around the area. Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton, Snake Pass all just a few minutes drive away. Beds were amazing probably the best nights sleep in a hotel I've ever had. Restaurant was brilliant, food really good, and again the staff were fabulous.

Im a frequent hotel user and tried most hotels so I definitely know the difference and what differs them from one another.

I found it strange that previous reviews complained about there being no lift, and that their rooms were some way from reception - well it states that on the information page on this really interesting hotel.

  The standard of cleanliness and its location was excellent. We were able to book a smoking room which added to the enjoyment of our stay. Nothing worse than standing outside in the cold . Because of that we felt able to maximise the relaxation factor and our room was spacious . The breakfast was hot, and fresh and in a clean bright dining room. ... what people say » I found the staff very helpful throughout the hotel , and very courteous. Would definitely use this hotel again. - Claire in Reservations was very helpful and got us the right rooms for our requirements. Rooms were large, well cleaned and breakfast plentiful. Free internet was a huge bonus, nice to see a company not charging for something as important as wifi and the speed was good too. Perhaps worth installing a blocker for bit torrent downloads though. All in all, the hotel does represent good value for money.
