The couple at Mardon House were brilliant people, they were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. They were really helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Our room was outstanding and worth every penny. - The room was excellent, the owners were lovely, and the full english breakfast was to die for.

Everything. Splendid staff, friendly, helpful, intelligent and very professional. Wondeful bucolic setting. Excellent food, complex and tasty but never OTT. Jolly good wine list. Clean rooms with lovely views and really comfortable beds. Good pool.

We had an overnight stay in order to catch an early morning flight next day, It was convenient to the airport, very clean and comfortable. It was my daughter's birthday and the hotel provided a birthday message with chocolates in the room which was a lovely touch. The room was lovely - two double beds overlooking the golf course.
