Hotel close by the Airport. Beautiful decorated hotel rooms with a very exclusive touch but I had also a junior suite. Friendly staff and a good restaurant with a great breakfast. Nice relax area with a good size swimming pool, bring your swimming gear and use it. excellent staff from reception to restaurant - they really tried hard to make you feel welcome and were very attentive restaurant food quality was very good- dinner and breakfast excellent location for M1 and M42 would definetley return.

Also loved the bedrooms - great ambience - still felt like new and very modern facilities and bathroom - with windows to the bedroom for extra light. Felt really well designed and thought out. This was our first stay at a Radisson Blue Hotel.and we were very impressed.Great value for money.Although the hotel is right by the airport.you would not think it was at all,the noise from the aircrafts went unnoticed. A beautiful building with very well designed and good quality bedrooms. Plenty of staff who all seem to perform their roles properly and with a smile. Far, far better than other reasonably priced hotels in this area. Everything about the hotel was fantastic, The room was lovely and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff organised despite being extremely busy due to normal guests, VIPs from the Download music festival and people attending the festival. Never felt rushed, never felt I was ignored. Reception staff were less helpful that I would have expected at a hotel of this type. bar prices a bit high but par for the course with this class of hotel. Nothing!. Very hot rooms but that is probabaly down to the sound proofing which is excellent. The breckfast was a little over priced at £16.00. There was no jacuzzi and I expected there to be one considering all the other stuff it had. Good choice breakfast but cheap items I.e sausage bacon etc .should not have to pay £5 parking for 1 night stays. Nothing negative to state. It was one of the best hotel stays I've had in my 30 hotel visits this year. Would hope guests staying at the hotel for 1 or 2 nights i.e. when on business would receive complementary parking although cost is not excessive. At breakfast 50% of the hot food had run out and was not replenished until after my breakfast was finished. Only negative was up early for airport left at 6:30 all breakfast grab and go had been taken away. No drinks in fridge as advertised. Quite simply, there was nothing wrong with my stay. I was very impressed. Shower could have been better/more powerful. Pool looked very small so did not bother to swim, fine for a family splash though. Food was OK but not as good as I was expecting. Wasn't impressed with our meal. Car park charge. Tea not tasty at breakfast. Use Tetley. Shower good but hard to figure out. Flat sink not practical, nothing gets away. Pop up waste needing adjustment. nothing. Limited menu, food/drinks fairly expensive, pool changing room facililties are too small. N/A. Minibar was empty but there is a water dispenser near the Lift. Single beds were too narrow Changing area in spa too small. Nothing it was excellent. Noise of fan in room. Windows from bathroom to bedroom-what is their purpose? Having to pay for shuttle bus if not parking a car-that is not made clear at time of booking. Pass needed to exit carpark. Sometimes we had a long wait at reception for a pass due to people checking in or out. May help if you could get a carpark exit pass from eg the bar, if reception is busy. Nothing. Would have liked more lounge space to sit and relax. Shower needed more pressure. Parking should be free. Room was a bit stuffy. Shame we couldn't open the window!. No free WiFi. Courtesy bus was payable, hotel more distant from airport than site suggests.
