The staff were always helpful and put themselves out to help, without being pushy. The Hotel is well maintained and if in the area I would stay there again - Clean, tidy and comfortable room, staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was superb!

Lovely location with great sea views. Short walk into Southend itself or longer sea front walk to the very pretty Leigh on Sea. Lots of old pubs with great character here and the old famous "cockle sheds" for fresh sea food. Friendly helpful and informative staff. Very helpful reception staff including the duty manager Thomaz I think? Helped us to our room as we had to carry our sleeping child. Was very helpful on the phone and friendly and nothing was too much trouble!!
Also lady in the morning on the reception was helpful and lady at breakfast helpful and friendly towards us and our son. And best omelette

All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. As we travelled there on motorbikes they allowed us to store the bikes in a secure locked rear yard. - Very friendly staff, the hotel was clean and comfortable.
