We stayed at holiday inn in southend since our flight to Amsterdam was taking off from southend airport. So we ended up staying there for two nights. It was absolutely the right decision. The hotel itself was spotless. It was really clean and well maintained. Best hotel for the price. southend is a nice town for nightlife and clubs. Not so much during the days. Very helpful reception staff including the duty manager Thomaz I think? Helped us to our room as we had to carry our sleeping child. Was very helpful on the phone and friendly and nothing was too much trouble!!

Letting us in an hour early owing to heavy rain. Fantastic location parking easy. Great English breakfast room facilities 10 out of 10 lovely comfortable bed. Tea coffee making facilities and biscuits too we couldn't have asked for more. TV & internet all provided .Owner's staff so friendly and welcoming we totally loved it. Worth every £ you won't beat it book it!

From the minute we walked in we were struck by the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was great, nice sea view and we even had a balcony. Easy to find, cleanliness of the room and hotel overall, the bedroom was very well presented with beautiful furniture and linens and plenty of tea and coffee, the house and gardens well and nicely maintained, excellent breakfast, spacious luxurious room.
