As we only spend one night in Amsterdam (attending a concert), there is
not much to say, possitive or negative. We wanted to stay in the centre
of town. The hotel is a few yards from Leidseplein. So location is
great. We booked a small double, which was nice, clean and cosy. For
breakfast we went to a bakery, so no comment on that. Will keep the
hotel in mind for next stop in Amsterdam !

The hotel is also within easy walking distance of the three major art galleries and the Vondelpark, which is great for picnics, reading and people-watching if you want a break from the hustle and bustle (or from all those paintings!).

We had a great stay at this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great - a good selection of different breads, cheeses and meat aswell as cereal, fruit and yoghurt. I liked the location,it is just a two minutes walk to Leidseplein where there are many restaurants, shops of all kind... from there you can reach very easy to the other main attractions: Dam Square, Rembrandtplein, Red Light District etc. I liked the room ...we were four girls and we took the four persons room which was very big, clean and comfortable. there were free coffees, cappuccinos, tea and the staff was really friendly. we all think it was a perfect choice.

The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Complimentary bottles of water in the room were much appreciated. Free tea and coffee anytime we liked in the downstairs area was a welcome surprise and made us feel very much at home. The lovely girl at reception even made our 12 year old a hot chocolate.
