We stayed at the triple room. The room was nice and spacious, with a balcony to a courtyard. The location is good, 300 meters from Leidseplein: one of the most interesting areas of the city. The staff was very kind and helpfull. I recommend this hotel. breakfast, staff and sweets on the front desk. very friendly staff. Staff is the best!. everything is provided for, ability to come and go freely at any time of day or night is great.

We also recommend you to rent a bike.Location was great. Get over the stairs This is Amsterdam. Try 2 small cases instead of one large for easier mobility. Vicinity to the center - Neibourhood - Breakfast - Rooms. location. The stafff. reachability of museums and near to a busy square where you can find something to eat even when very late. That the hotel was located in a quiet surrounding even if it was not farfrom the center of Amsterdam. location too far from the tram station. Our room had a very large window yet there was no blind or curtain which affected privacy. a bit far from ccentral station ~ 6-7 tram stops. the shower was a strange set up. I wouldn't suggest this hotel for families. Hotel is great if you're young and just in town for a weekend trip with some friends.steep stairs. no elevator, the step is too small ... it's hard to carry the laggage up floor. no refreshments available in room, ie. tea/ coffee making facilities. the common toilett (extremely small), high stairs. Beds (too soft!) - Bathrooms. smell of sick and on the landing outside our room. The toliet. the stairs are a _nightmare_, not lift, _unacceptable_ small toilet, very small room, too soft mattress. It was poor service in the hotel, the room was not clean when we got it2 hours later than expected check in time. We got a room on the topfloor (4 th floor) and the stairs was very steep and narrow and had noelevator so it was very difficult to get both up and down from the room.The thing that I disliked most was the lack of a fireescape latter or analternative way out in case of fire. A big negative was that management were unaware of the noise made by backpackers from floors 2 and up. I had to make a few complains as I was awoken more than five times a night by drunken loud obnoxious teens who were wailing all morning. The rooms were very small, dust all over the wardrobes, toilet stunk of urine the whole time and no one to clean the mess. It was disgusting.Room was small and dirty, bed was uncomfortable, curtain was fallingdown, no water from the hot water tap. Breakfast was dried up and ofpoor quality. steep stairs really dispointing, my hubby and I stayed there 2 nights in room 15 and the first night, I was bitten many places by unknown bugs which made my hands swelling up. I told the hotel and they did not act anything even did not explain anything!. I asked for non-smoker's room but there is an ashtray on my table and the room was full of the smell of smoke. I asked to change room but the reception told me every room is non-smoke room so I couln't change. After one minute, two guys asked her if they could smoke, she said yes, but only cigarrate and need to open the window.The toilet is as small as the one in the airplane. Dangerous stairs.
