Excelent location. Large and confortable three-bed room with a private garden on the ground floor. Hotel staff polite ans attencious. Good breakfast buffet for european patterns. Just watch out the fact that many tourists squeeze every single bread on the basket with their hands... and of course, don´t eat them all!. Myself and three friends stayed at the hotel and found it to be clean, comfortable and was in an excellent area for all the attractions in Amsterdam. I would definately recommend the hotel and would stay there again if I returned to Amsterdam.
all reviews » The location was great - right beside the museums. The staff were very accommodating - they let us check-in a few hours early. The breakfast selection was very good and the bed was very comfy. And this was all for a very reasonable price. The hotel was very comfortable and also with a very good breakfast. The staff was really helpful and even sold us tickets for the Van Gogh Museum, which saved us a lot of time.We arrived at 0800 hrs after a flight from Dubai and the hotel proviced us with a room despite the fact that check in is in the afternoon. this was most appreciated - thanks. This was an outstanding hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and used some really innovative design elements.I loved the proximity to the museum district and the centralness to the main area of the city of Amsterdam - the hotel is situated in a lovely leafy residential street. A few steps in the hallway between my room and the elevator.The changes of rates in the weekends. you must keep the key when going out !. needs smoking area. to step out the bath onto the bathroom floor is high and scary. there is nowhere to hold on to. Maybe the hotel could place a few firm handles on the wall. the towel rack wont hold the weight. Also the television could be placed less then 3m away from the bed.Tea and coffee making in the room would have been nice. Pillows weretoo big...
