  My husband and I spent 5 days at the Datai. I've stayed in many hotels over the years but I can honestly say, that I enjoyed my stay at the Datai more than any other hotel I've ever stayed in. I felt a sense of peace being close to nature and the sea. All the staff were wonderful and couldnt do enough to make our stay comfortable.   The most important thing I have noticed aside from the beautiful nature, is the friendly staff. From the moment we reach the airport and a young smiley man called Azmil as far as I remember who gave us a gray information about what to Do, and once we reached the resort we have been met by another very smiley and friendly Angung who took us to make... what people say » the check in from the jetty to the reception , and found a great room facing the sea and a room with well prepared cake for our anniversary . And I c - It was a great experiance at the TAJ - Rebak Island resort from the time of check -in to our check-out- every thing was taken care so well, the staff at TAJ is amazing and so Hospitable, especially their Guest service Relations Executive MS. Pantea Rodd who took care of me and my family requets.. would highly recommend this property and would love to come back and stay @ TAJ Rebak Island Resort !!!

  We liked everything! This is an amazing place to stay, and thoroughly relaxing. Each 'room' is a little house on stilts with its own balcony. Each one is unique. We liked having the very friendly cats around, Scrabble to play and a pool to swim in. Breakfast in your fridge makes for an extra relaxing stay (no schedule to stick to). If we ever - -My daughter cried when we left! We loved this visit to Langkawi. the Bon Ton was absolutely gorgeous with every attention to detail. I loved the room with the outside bath, my daughter loved the cats and helped out in the mornings at the animal sanctuary near by. The view over the water hole was particularly beautiful at sunset, and in the morning there were monitor lizards and kingfishers. The free cocktails and snacks were a lovely touch and the staff were most happy to accomodate my request

Lifeguar - Absolutely fabulous! Perfect beach location for relaxing family holiday, plenty restaurants and shops within walking distance. Friendly service without being intrusive, the staff always happy and smiling. Food outstanding at the restaurant and pool side, breakfast good with plenty choice and good coffee. The resort and rooms are clean and well maintained, security courteous and professional. Well done Frangipani for brilliant team effort to provide us with a perfect family holiday!

Good location within short walk of several restaurants and shops and the beach. Family room was good size (with two large double beds and a large bathroom) and very comfortable. The pool area is great, facing a waterfall and a hill with subtropical rainforest. Excellent value for money. I have booked an Apartment suite, however, the air-con is not working and resort staff had upgraded my stay to the Perdana suite at no additional cost. On the last day of the tour, one of the restaurent staff notice that my son was not feeling well.   Beautifully appointed room, in a very serene setting. The fabulous pool with perfect temperature and gorgeous view is perfect for relaxing in the afternoon. The staff were really helpful, even letting us have use of a room after check out (as we had a late flight) staff. I loved that there were cats everywhere! Very homely feel to the room we stayed in. Bathroom was huge and the wooden bath tub was quaint. We loved the fruit and cakes that they stocked daily in our fridge.
