We liked everything! This is an amazing place to stay, and thoroughly relaxing. Each 'room' is a little house on stilts with its own balcony. Each one is unique. We liked having the very friendly cats around, Scrabble to play and a pool to swim in. Breakfast in your fridge makes for an extra relaxing stay (no schedule to stick to). We also like the 'extra touches' in the house like the really nice soap. Really you could have a wonderful stay without even stepping outside of Bon Ton. If we ever .
all reviews » -My daughter cried when we left! We loved this visit to Langkawi. the Bon Ton was absolutely gorgeous with every attention to detail. I loved the room with the outside bath, my daughter loved the cats and helped out in the mornings at the animal sanctuary near by. The view over the water hole was particularly beautiful at sunset, and in the morning there were monitor lizards and kingfishers. The free cocktails and snacks were a lovely touch and the staff were most happy to accomodate my request. What is not to like! The place is amazing!!! Old villas in wooden style makes you feel that you traveled through time. If you wish quiet time and relaxation, there is no where else you wanna be! So no, don't expect room service and high quality shower, but expect beautiful nature, old style villas, birds singing all day long and beauty. Been looking at staying here for quite a long time.Loved everything about this hotel. Staff, food &furry residents. Pleased to be able to make a small contribution to help with all the good work done here to help the stray animals. The concept is really nice, old traditionnal renovated Malay house equiped in a modern way. THe houses are delicious, the restaurant is exquisite and the personal staff was really attentionate in the best appropriated way. It's easy when you know how and not at all far, but a map would reassure you on the first trip that you're going in the right direction. -Whilst I loved the idea of the breakfast in the rooms, I thought there could have been an option to have it in the dining area, as there would have been more opportunities to meet other guests. -The food was amazing, we loved the meal we had there, but we would have stayed in most nights were it a little cheaper. Nothing at all! If I go back to Langkawi this is exactly where I'm going to stay!. bonton an Temple tree are in a similar resort. Bonton is definitively the choice to make, staff wise, food wise, location wise and smile wise !. Beds and bedding could be updated. nothing. The only thing that annoyed us slightly was there was no wifi in our room, although around the pool and outside was fine!. Breakfasts very disappointing especially as restaurant so good.With a little more effort eg a plate of prepared fruits rather than simply an apple & pear & some muesli instead of cake which is too heavy & sweet to start the day for most people. Got stung by bee when arrived home in Oz went straight to hospital. There are so many cats. Not a real problem but they are a big part of the resort.
