We found all staff very pleasant and charming to talk to. The Continental breakfast had amazing variety and is the best we have experienced. We haven't been inconvenienced with building extensions and didn't mind the distance from centre of town and enjoyed walking in and back also. One reason for booking was to be able to walk to several areas of interest to us.We would certainly stay here again.
all reviews » A warm and friendly atmosphere made for a most pleasant stay, extremely nice staff and all you need for a stay in Dublin. Preferable to staying in the noisy environs of Dublin centre but so convenient with the Luas line almost on the doorstep. Will definitely stay again, in fact intend to do so 31 July.Economical, central, convenient for friends to meet and have meals (VIP to me), warm, as my first stay in dublinwas SOOOOO glad close to Heuston station!!!. I stayed in best western at midford--they only charged BnB rate--$40 I think, or less--maybe different charges at different locations?. A warm welcome with advice on places to visit. The room was nicely decorated and equipped. Everything worked. It was very clean and cleaned properly every day. The bed and pillows were comfortable.Convenient for airport bus, tram stop and not too far to walk in to the centre of Dublin.The whole deal from reception area, to room, the staff - efficient cleaners and waiting staff - all better or at least as good as any other hotel I have stayed in - and you really wouldn,t know that major rebuilding work is ongoing. Rooms are quite spacious and had a good nights sleep even with works taking place early. Breakfast was excellent and all staff were very nice.Very friendly and helpful staff. The construction site nearby obviously was slightly disturbing. As minor detail: some of the foods in the breakfast were not of standard, the cheapest juices from concentrates and the bread that was not fresh and the scrambled eggs that did not taste of anything. If the breakfast would have been included in the room price I would not complain. A minor detail in case you want to improve service.Room faced on to a road, that was noisey in the mornings. Just one thing. The temperature of room was to hot, even when the heating was off.The breakfast selection could be improved for the health concious, with a wider selection or yoghurts, fresh fruit or porridge. Renovations did cause some inconvienance but once inside all was fine.The noise of the building works early in the morning. can't think of anything. Our top floor room would have occasional cold water supply problems due to the extensive renovations (tear down and rebuilding) going on at the hotel. would have loved to be able to take advantage of the breakfast offer but could not get it because of our room rate.Very minor points. The water could have been a bit hotter, and I would have liked a choice of some plainer food on the restaurant menu. the temperature of the shower would change unexpectedly, no way to control it. Was not advised about the ongoing work that was been carried out although this did not affect the service or our stay there. A bit expensive for 1 night. breakfast should have been included in price. all o.k. Construction going on starts around 7am. We lived with it and it probably kept the price down.

Regular bus services run to and from the city centre. Bus stops are adjacent to hotel and located at Heuston Intercity Station.

By Tram:
From the Central Bus Station (BUSARAS), Connolly Rail Station, Abbey Street (O'Connell Street) or Jervis Street (shopping centre), take the Red Line Tram to Museum or Heuston Station. The hotel is located between these 2 stops.

By Train:
The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Heuston Intercity Railway Station, serving the South and West of Ireland. Additionally, there is a frequent 'Rail-link' public bus service and tram from Connolly Station to Heuston Station (bus numbers 90/91).

By Plane:
- There is a Express Bus Service, Airlink number 748, to Heuston Station, last stop. The fare will be EUR 5.80. The hotel is located just across the River Liffey from Heuston. Buses operate approximately every 20 to 30 minutes.
- Alternatively, from Dublin Airport, take the 747 (approximately every 10 - 15 minutes) to the Central Bus Station and then transfer to the Red Line Tram. Disembark at Museum or Heuston. The fare for the Airlink Bus is EUR 5.

From Dublin Airport By Car:
- Join the M1 motorway for Dublin and take the 1st immediate exit onto the M50 for N2/N3/N4/N7.
- Continue through toll bridge (EUR1.80) and take the next exit off the M50 immediately after the bridge.
- Turn left onto the N4 for the city centre.
- Continue for approximately 4 miles until you come to Heuston Rail Station on your left. The road curves left around the station, bringing you across the River Liffey.
- Once across the bridge, turn right and then immediately left.
- At the first traffic lights turn left. The hotel and hotel car park are on your right. Journey time is approximately 20 minutes.
