The hotel is nice, comfortable and in a great location. You can reach easily the town center in 15 mins walk. In less than 5 mins walk you arrive to Hueston station, where there is a link with the airport (usually a bus every 15 minutes). Just below the hotel there’s a lovely pub, run by a friendly person who often hosts live music. All of this would be already enough, but you have to add the WONDERFUL courtesy of Mr. Paddy and Mr. Mark, two people really rare and precious. We really felt "welc. all reviews »
Conveniently located across from Heuston Station, but also in-between Phoenix Park and the terrific National Museum of History and Design, and right down the street from Smithfield and the Guinness Brewery. Mark and co. were accommodating hosts, quickly resolving a cold shower issue and allowing me to store baggage after I checked out.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel lived up to it's advertising. For a solo traveler, the dorm room settings are excellent and well within a tight budget.
the ambiance in the hotel was so friendly and staff were eager to please its customers.
The owner was wonderful in every way.
Excellent location. Great service by all three staff concerned. Recommended only for backpackers.
No real complaints - it is a bit far from the city center, but there's a bus nearby, and it's a good stretch of the legs along the Liffey if you walk.
The shower was tight.
Poor facilities
Cramped unclean rooms
Cramped toilet/bath
The facilities were rather too poor and over shadowed the enthusiasm of the staff. Overall very poor for what you are paying.
