  We were disappointed the first night that a few things weren't working (24 hr hot tub, our tv, and our coffee maker) however once we expressed our dismay, the staff worked quickly to rectify it and in the end our opinion was changed and it turned out to be an amazing experience.   I loved the beautiful location. It is so tranquil. The bath tub is so easy and safe to get out of, which is really saying something for a senior. Seafood dishes were excellent!! - Was there for my brothers wedding. Service was excellent, beautiful setting. Wonderful staff, good food.

  The location is wonderful. We very much liked our one bedroom cabin; it had everything we needed and more. There is a little store right at the motel which is convenient.   Located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, this Lodge is beautifully appointed. One feels both close to nature, while also having luxurious accommodations. The freshly baked cookies, the coffee/tea, the fruit readily available gave the lodge feel very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean, I - The location is superb - looking out onto the ocean - and the lodge has its own private beach.   We loved the location and serene atmosphere of this hotel. Particularly liked the hot tub, tennis courts, taxi to the other side.also we had a beautiful gourmet meal in the restaurant our steak was cooked to perfection and the staff were very attentive. All other staff that I encountered were very accommodating and helpful. The facilities and setting were also impressive. Thanks for a great stay. I hope to revisit with my wife. - The seaside setting is lovely, and Painter's has activity packages which take full advantage of the natural resources which surround it. Taking the shuttle over to April Point on Quadra Island is a fun option - and yes, cruise-ships, tugs with their barges, fishing boats and pleasure craft all add to the charm.

  The Quadra Island location is wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and we found the restaurant pretty good. They cooked our salmon and it was fabulous. They have free boat transportation to and from Painter's Lodge(their sister property), We were very satisfied. - Beautiful location overlooking the water ,a cottage like atmosphere.Very friendly ... what people say » courteous welcoming staff.Great fishing experiences with great guides and very pleasant dock crew.I love that there is provisions for dog family members.

  We had asked for a ground floor room which was not available but as the hotel had an elevator that wasn't a problem. Nevertheless the hotel upgraded our room for us which was finished to a very high standard. It had high ceilings and a kitchen area and very modern bathroom. The facilities are pretty good too - wifi, a pool, hot tub and fitness center.

  had everything we needed or could even imagine for spa services, yet had games and badminton to amuse my daughter too. Everything was available and if not, it was instantly remedied. (propane tank was empty and was exchanged promptly) - The cabins were well equipped with everything we needed. The mineral springs-fed jacuzzi bath was a nice luxury... what people say » .
