  Mike, the innkeeper was very helpful with connecting us to the local eats, etc. The design of the living space was well constructed and the kitchen and bathrooms had nice updates. We like a home-like atmosphere for our stay, so it worked for us. This unit had an enclosed exterior patio and BBQ plus an exterior entrance and exit, which we did not k... what people say » now when we booked. It was a great bonus space and we would have planned our stay differently knowing we had that space! So, if the weather is not c - It was in the perfect location very close to Dallas Road as we were in town for the Marathon and it was also close to the start/finish, and my elderly parents had come along. We found it very comfortable, although my husband and Mom ended up being sick and it was a bit awkward sharing the one bathroom which connected both bedrooms. If not for that, it would have worked perfectly. My Mom is very particular (i.e. hard to please) and she was very happy with the suite: roomy, comfortable and airy,

We stayed at the star - Excellent staff... Everyone was professional and friendly. We came over from Seattle. I had booked the stay online at letsbookhotel.com...we had a dog with us, and I had listed pet friendly as a requirement. Somehow letsbookhotel.com hadn't informed the hotel. Your staff was able to book us a pet friendly room and rectify the problem. I really appreciated that.

  Beuna Vista exceeded our expectations in every way.Rob and Claire were very hospitable and helpful. The room was very comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated. The grounds and view of the ocean from our balcony was incredible. The location was ideal. It is close to many eating places,recreation and shopping in Qualicum. We hope to return and will definitety recommend Buena Vista to anyone wanting a lovely place to recharge their batteries. - claire, the owner phoned us within 5 minutes of checking in, to see if there was anything we needed and if the room was to our satisfaction. she is very passionate about qualicum. the room was perfect. the location, couldn't have been better. past the rose garden, through the gate and to the beach!!!
