Mike, the innkeeper was very helpful with connecting us to the local eats, etc. The design of the living space was well constructed and the kitchen and bathrooms had nice updates. We like a home-like atmosphere for our stay, so it worked for us. This unit had an enclosed exterior patio and BBQ plus an exterior entrance and exit, which we did not know when we booked. all reviews » It was in the perfect location very close to Dallas Road as we were in town for the Marathon and it was also close to the start/finish, and my elderly parents had come along. We found it very comfortable, although my husband and Mom ended up being sick and it was a bit awkward sharing the one bathroom which connected both bedrooms. If not for that, it would have worked perfectly. My Mom is very particular (i.e. hard to please) and she was very happy with the suite: roomy, comfortable and airy, . The location was perfect. We could walk to the grocery store, ocean and downtown. We were surprised by the size of the apartment, full kitchen, BBQ and patio. The cost was exactly in the range we were looking for, but the apartment was more than what we had expected for the price. Everything was perfect. Owner was very responsive and answered our questions promptly. Well Maintained, clean, all amenities are included. The owner even irons the sheets. Now that's detail. One minute out the door, and you are standing in front of the Pacific Ocean. It doesnt get much better than that. Very peacefull area. 5* for me !. Location one block from water, walking distance to Beacon Hill Park, the wharf, inner harbor. Quiet area, food market and eateries nearby. Free parking and well stocked apartment. It's immaculate, quiet, convenient to town but by the sea, the owners are cordial and helpful. Beautiful suites fully equipped, unique functional layout, close to the ocean and downtown Victoria. Would definitely stay there again when in Victoria!. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, location, location, location. Room was very home like. Everything. We had a neighboring couple with a small child that would fuss and we could clearly hear it. Minor detail - while the furnishings were certainly in good shape and clean, the decor was dated (as if an older couple lived there) and so it did not match the lovely kitchen and bath updates. Perhaps this unit was in a remodeling transition?. We found it hard to regulate the temperature: we had the heat off in the suite, but it was very warm in our bedroom and even with the window open, it never seemed to cool down at night. One bathroom with two bedrooms.(hence the 'good' not 'excellent' rating on the comfort line! Top apartment has 2, but was already booked for our weekend. Seagulls yelling during night (price you pay for being near water). Nothing. Having the shared bathroom between the 2 bedrooms lacked a little privacy. When I tried to stay longer I was told that it was all booked and then later on that same day I saw it was still available online. So dont appreciate being lied to. I was not a disrupted guest I was a paying customer and was treated in such a way I would call discriminated against.
