We were disappointed the first night that a few things weren't working (24 hr hot tub, our tv, and our coffee maker) however once we expressed our dismay, the staff worked quickly to rectify it and in the end our opinion was changed and it turned out to be an amazing experience. The beds and the jacuzzi tubs in each room are AMAZING!!! -

The room was big and comfortable, with a lovely view of the scenic lake. Everything was there I needed, including wifi and coffee-maker. The breakfast that was included was beyond the usual sweet bun and coffee... very nice! Staff were all helpful and allowed me to leave an item behind the desk so my cousin could pick it up later in the day. The location was convenient for getting on and off the highway, and near stores, if I had wanted to shop. The reason I booked there initially is because th

One of the highlights of our trip. The house is incredible, the rooms
were extremely comfortable, the hosts were outstanding, and the
breakfasts were to die for. Warren and Gary were friendly and helpful
throughout our visit, and their breakfasts were truly memorable (though
at least one day it left me wanting to go back to bed for a nap!) The

Where do we start, it was an over the to experience. Loved the
atmosphere, the wonderful personalities of Gary and Warren, particularly
loved Mindy, just all around loved our time there, like being in a
Country Cottage, only complaint was the people to the side of us the
last night, very noisy throughout the night but then, that is not a big
deal. Just loved being there and miss the three of you already. Hugs,

The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. We had our 13 year old yellow Lab with us and the staff were very attentive and kind to her. The room was super clean, and comfortable. The breakfast had lots of choice and the food was really good. The cinnamon buns were great! We would choose to stay here again. Also enjoyed the river walkway

When we checked in the lady behind the desk was very nice. We got some
discount coupons as well (including 15% off Whitespot). There was a
decent size pool and a waterslide which my four year old loved. The Hot
tub and pool and area were all really clean which is often so rare. The
room was quiet and clean and the breakfast was actually quite tasty!

The honeymoon suite and similar oceanfront suites are superb...spacious, warm, inviting, inspiring, romantic, tranquil. The food preparation is exquisite with a generous menu variety. The wonderfully groomed landscape and gardens are a very special part of why we choose to return, as is the ocean vistas. Every room at the resort has an ocean view.

We enjoyed the variety in the menu selections, using local herbs and ingredients and different food combinations, all attractively arranged on the plates we ordered
Kyla at the main desk offered excellent service, quick to act on special requests made by us such as wanting card and board games and books to read for example.

The thing that impressed me the most was how well the front desk people handled a rather difficult customer, as I waited to be served. All other staff that I encountered were very accommodating and helpful. The facilities and setting were also impressive. Thanks for a great stay. I hope to revisit with my wife. -
The seaside setting is lovely, and Painter's has activity packages
which take full advantage of the natural resources which surround it.
Taking the shuttle over to April Point on Quadra Island is a fun option
- and yes, cruise-ships, tugs with their barges, fishing boats and
pleasure craft all add to the charm.

I really liked how they stored my suitcase before check in so I could do my work and same thing after I checked out. I didn't have to pack my luggage to a business meeting. Also the convenience of the location being right downtown Victoria almost next to the museum and archives was a tremendous bonus. I liked how they put me in a room on the 14th floor which gave me the best views ever.
