  We were disappointed the first night that a few things weren't working (24 hr hot tub, our tv, and our coffee maker) however once we expressed our dismay, the staff worked quickly to rectify it and in the end our opinion was changed and it turned out to be an amazing experience.   Beautiful waterfront property with very nice rooms and an excellent staff. The spa was a true delight and the "Kunamokst" Native Indian Mural in the lobby is a unique awe inspiring piece of art! Connie the owner/manager is very hands on, and takes personal interest in the needs of her guests. They were very flexible and understanding with checking in and checking out since the ferry schedule was so off. The kitchen was amazing and we loved the outdoor grill and fireplace. The outdoor fireplace was the best part!

  The honeymoon suite and similar oceanfront suites are superb...spacious, warm, inviting, inspiring, romantic, tranquil. The food preparation is exquisite with a generous menu variety. The wonderfully groomed landscape and gardens are a very special part of why we choose to return, as is the ocean vistas.   The Quadra Island location is wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and we found the restaurant pretty good. They cooked our salmon and it was fabulous. They have free boat transportation to and from Painter's Lodge(their sister property), We were very satisfied. - Beautiful location overlooking the water ,a cottage like atmosphere.Very friendly ... what people say » courteous welcoming staff.Great fishing experiences with great guides and very pleasant dock crew.I love that there is provisions for dog family members.

  I love the Sidney Pier.I check in the night before the long flight to Toronto and a hectic week with young grandchildren.I check my frozen halibut at the front desk which goes into the hotel freezer,give them my car keys and leave my car in underground parking for $5 a day,have a special dinner at Haros' or across the street at the Pub.A hot bath,... what people say » a good sleep,a taxi to the airport with frozen fish in hand,and this Nana is ready for almost anything. One more thing.Real creamers in the mini fridg - The first thing that impressed us was the attentive and accommodating staff. Then it was the cleanness if the hallways and rooms. We also thought the design and the colour palettes were pleasing, restful, and reflective of a seashore setting. Finally. We liked the location for its proximity to shops,restaurants, a d walking paths.

  We arrived fairly late and had a bite to eat and a drink in the pub downstairs. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Beds very comfortable and quiet during the night. We had been concerned about city noise but was very peaceful! Restaurant for breakfast was wonderful. Great food, service, price and decor Was just a night stay, but woul... what people say » d definitely stay there again and have recommended the restaurant to my family fwho live in Victoria. - I really liked how they stored my suitcase before check in so I could do my work and same thing after I checked out. I didn't have to pack my luggage to a business meeting. Also the convenience of the location being right downtown Victoria almost next to the museum and archives was a tremendous bonus. I liked how they put me in a room on the 14th floor which gave me the best views ever.
