  We spent 4 nights in the Nelligan and rate this amongst the best of our hotel experiences anywhere. Rooms were spacious and well furnished (exposed brickwork is very stylish). All of the staff we spoke to were extremely helpful and spoke both French and English fluently. It's well situated in Old Montreal (you'll need their valet parking which is... what people say » reasonably priced) and is right in the middle of some lovely galleries, shops and restaurants. Yes, you'll pay a bit more for this hotel but it's def - We loved the feel of the hotel and the way it had been renovated to keep the charm of the exposed bricks and stone. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. The hotel is located right in the heart of Old Montreal and it is within easy walking distance of great restaurants, bars, art galleries, historic sights and the waterfront. We look forward to staying there again and again.

  Owned and run by a friendly young couple who are gradually turning an old estate home into a fine auberge. Clean and comfortable, old-fashioned in a pleasing way - not brand new and sterile. - It's authenticity, charming, well organized, very discretely, perfect location and above all lovely.   During a road trip from Toronto to Halifax, I chose this hotel based in reviews and wasn't disappointed. The newest part of the hotel is beautifully done. The rooms are equipped with wonderfully modern stylish decor. The bathroom sink and shower fixtures are gleaming and spa like. Towels are so soft and their choice of toiletries ... The iPod dock was great touch as were the lighting fixtur - The rooms were beautiful. We ordered room service for dinner and it was excellent!! .....and reasonably priced. We would not have chosen this hotel except that I found a great room rate on book.com and we loved our stay, even though it was only one night.

  The hotel was gorgeous. The 2 bedroom suite was beautiful and had a balcony and fireplace. Definitely the best part was the outdoor hot tub that was open all night. I was really nice to be able to have a beer in the hottub (I'm not sure of the official rules, but our access cards let us into the pool and the pool was never covered and we saw other... what people say » people with beer in the pool). I've never seen a place where I could use an outdoor hottub past 10, so this was really nice. The shuttle service was - It is a very picturesque Hotel, more like an Inn, situated a 5 minute drive from Mt.Tremblant. The hotel has a shuttle that runs to and from Mt.Tremblant at your beck and call, rooms are spacious,clean there is a small indoor pool an outdoor pool and a large exterior spa.A small bar large lounge area with 2 free access computers and large screen tv set up.   We parked our car on Friday and didn't move it 'til Sunday. We walked everywhere and loved it. Right in the middle of Sherbrooke St. action and a nice walk to Old Montreal. Some complained about sirens or street noise outside, but hey, you're in a city and the hotel can't control that! Our room was comfy and well supplied. Good breakfast at a reas... what people say » onable price and a relaxing bar. Loved sitting in the sun on the 11th floor deck on Oct. 12! Special shout-outs to the bellmen and front desk staff. V - The Hilton Garden Inn is in a perfect location for visiting all Montreal has to offer. We were lucky enough to be there when the Jazz Festival was on and the venue was within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Metro stop near by to take you all round the city. The hotel itself is very welcoming with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and the rooms are large, air conditioned, nicely decorated with very comfortable beds. A huge plus was the washing machine and tumble drier facilities available

  This was a great hotel. I was upgraded to one of the deluxe suites when I arrived. The hotel is quiet, well appointed and the staff were very helpful. I was even able to get a late check-out.   the most i would like in hilton laval is the front desk crew and the housekepping they all very nice and frindley. - Very friendly and helpful staff -room service was great. Free parking was a nice plus!
