  We have already decided that B&B is a great way to travel, so this was among those places where we had a great time. The whole house is huge and very decorated with authentic pieces. It is an old house with a lot of character and modern amenities. The bathroom and its equipment is either new or recently replaced, the linen was not the usual ho... what people say » tel white, but linen like and earth colors. The owners, Lee and Joss were really nice and accommodating trying to help in any which way. The breakfast - The owners are extremely nice. The Auberge is beautiful, clean, comfortable, all in a relaxing environment. The breakfast was delicious, everything was homemade by the owners. They also offer a 4 course dinner, we will definitively try it next time we stay there.

  Lovely location. Beautiful facility. Wonderful service. Fantastic food. Everything exceeded our expectations in every respect. We've already recommended this Auberge to many of our friends. Expect only pleasant surprises, if you stay here. - Very friendly - the welcome was "treat us like your home". Large breakfasts. Comfortable room.

  We spent 4 nights in the Nelligan and rate this amongst the best of our hotel experiences anywhere. Rooms were spacious and well furnished (exposed brickwork is very stylish). All of the staff we spoke to were extremely helpful and spoke both French and English fluently. It's well situated in Old Montreal (you'll need their valet parking which is... what people say » reasonably priced) and is right in the middle of some lovely galleries, shops and restaurants. Yes, you'll pay a bit more for this hotel but it's def - We loved the feel of the hotel and the way it had been renovated to keep the charm of the exposed bricks and stone. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. The hotel is located right in the heart of Old Montreal and it is within easy walking distance of great restaurants, bars, art galleries, historic sights and the waterfront. We look forward to staying there again and again.

  Owned and run by a friendly young couple who are gradually turning an old estate home into a fine auberge. Clean and comfortable, old-fashioned in a pleasing way - not brand new and sterile. - It's authenticity, charming, well organized, very discretely, perfect location and above all lovely.
