    I stayed on the 9th floor, a club floor, and I had asked for a "clean clean room", please! And it was...really clean and newly renovated, great design, very comfortable, wonderful view, and it was my fault that I didn't use the lounge for my complimentary continental breakfast! Oh, and the staff were outstandingly helpful and friendly. The desk clerk (Brad) - I liked how every single staff memver had great customer service and made us feel very welcome, they kept the room very clean everyday, the breakfast buffet was very good and the kithen staff was great and joyful the potatoes were amazing and the location of the hotel and the hotel its self was very beautiful.

    We stayed for a week in October, except for the rainy days everything else was close to perfect. Afterwards we stayed for 3 nights at Hyatt Regency and it really wasn't up to L'Hermitage standards, although more expensive.     First night was in a newly reno'd suite. Wonderful.     This was a great place to stay with kids. It is basically having your own apartment at the hill. My recommendation if you are going with young kids is to use the daycare/school services instead of the ski school. they have a program called Ski and Play - where your child is occupied from 9 am to 4 pm each day. They provide rentals and lift passes ... what people say » in their price and the kids end up skiing one hour at a time - 4 times in a day - so 4 hours of ski instruction (one instructor per 3 kids I believe) - Well informed, friendly and professional staff! We arrived several hours later than expected due to highway traffic and accidents and they made the process so smooth and stress free. I loved the Fernie Alpine Village which was just a two minute walk from Snow Creek Lodge. The Timberline chairlift ride up to hike the mountain was awesome as well! Great for downhill bikers too :) The pool and hot tubs were great and the access to the BBQs on the deck were a bonus as well!
