I stayed on the 9th floor, a club floor, and I had asked for a "clean clean room", please! And it was...really clean and newly renovated, great design, very comfortable, wonderful view, and it was my fault that I didn't use the lounge for my complimentary continental breakfast! Trying to visit family and getting out too early in the morning, in a hurry, but I would definitely avail myself of the lounge next visit! Oh, and the staff were outstandingly helpful and friendly. all reviews » I liked how every single staff memver had great customer service and made us feel very welcome, they kept the room very clean everyday, the breakfast buffet was very good and the kithen staff was great and joyful the potatoes were amazing and the location of the hotel and the hotel its self was very beautiful. Loved the people! All the employee's were rock stars! So grateful for their Helpfulness, Sense of Humour, and professionalism. They helped make my last night on the road truly a wonderful one! We ordered room service and got an amazing dinner delivered right to our room. I love the de'cor of the rooms, very Ikea like! Only 1 satchet of coffee provided in room (other one decaffinated). would have been good to have 2 satchets just for ease, but asked at reception for more and given more straight away. The bar and lobby need help. Pool area was very nice but for the size of the resort could use an "adult only" pool as well. While we were at the pool their was a group of young girls on a "hen weekend". Their behaviour was maybe a little inappropriate with young children around but would have been perectly fine at an "adult" pool. Felt very bad for them when they were asked to leave the pool area - they were just having fun!!. I couldn't stay longer. The area around the pool was under construction/maintenance so was less appealing. A bit pricey. Nothing particular, but the gym is a bit dark, and the warderobe to the swimming pool could do a makeover to be top notch... Confusion with rooms, had to move three times . Expensive valet parking and about $50 a night more expensive than I really wanted to spend. Nothing. No complaints. Nothing I didn't like. Need more snack food at the coffee bar (fruit cups, sandwiches, etc.). In-room dining menu should not show 'fruit' on cheese plate when all you get is 5 blackberries. Just remove the 'fruit' from the description and the blackberries would be a nice surprise rather than a disappointment. The T V remote was really hard to figure out when it came to the first choice of movies, t v etc. It seemed to change at random. Also it didn't have hi def. Noisy room. HVAC unit makes a lot of noise....tough to sleep through it. Parking was expensive. No balcony to sit outside and enjoy the view. Really wanted to be able to have a glass of wine and enjoy Kelowna beauty. the check in time of 4 pm it should be 2 or 3 at the latest. air conditioning units(outside our window) operating all night and the consequent noise. WiFi said it was 20 times faster when in fact it was as slow as ice melting on a winters day. No safe in room. No problems. Balconies would be nice. for the price the room was nothing special. Can't believe you have to pay to listen to music on the TV. Limited menu selections. Pay parking, over-priced room service. Slow service in restaurant. No special benefits for high rollers in the casino. Checked out 1 bedroom unit for sept 2013 but didn't get a great feeling about it for the money. Little expensive and parking charges. A bit above what I wanted to pay - but I would go back because of the location. People closing room doors late at night. Have stayed before and never noticed this but this time it was very noticable. Woke me up. Not just once but about 7 or 8 times. bus turn around below my window was noisy. I didn't have my confirmation from letsbookhotel.com. And was. Charged $294.00 per night. - noise from street all night long - congregation of large crowd of loud, young adults at hotel and vicinity. Our room was noisy, we requested a quiet room and were on the same floor as a bridal party. People were outside our room from 2 to 3.30 am, very loud. Woke us up and were unable to getbackto sleep.
