We were able to bring our puppy along, and it was very convenient having an outside entrance/exit from the room on the first floor, loved it! The kids loved the pool/waterslide and the waffles/bacon for brekky in the morning. -

Loved the jacuzzi suite. The steamer in the shower was an added bonus. Room was one of the nicest that we've stayed in. Will go back there again! Buffet dinner was excellent, buffet breakfast was delicious too. -

The Motel and the rooms are well maintained and clean. We slept well in a quiet room. The staff was very friendly and informative. We will not hesitate to stay there again and recommend others to do the same. -

I chose this town rather than Drumheller to stay to explore the dinosaur heritage of the area, and was very pleased with this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We usually stay at the Mettera, which is also on Whyte and owned by the same company. We decided to give the Varscona a try and it was great. I enjoyed their wine and cheese hour that they had for hotel guest and the continental breakfast the next morning was really good. It kind of reminded me of my stay in Sonoma and Napa Valley. we went to calgary to watch the rihana concert, it was withing walking distance and close to everything we needed. for the price it was very nice. we were quite impressed. even having parking for us made it easy once we got to calgary so we were not looking for a place to park every time we went out.
