Loved the jacuzzi suite. The steamer in the shower was an added bonus. Room was one of the nicest that we've stayed in. Will go back there again! Buffet dinner was excellent, buffet breakfast was delicious too. -

Very friendly and obliging staff. Comfortable room with microwave and fridge. Quiet location in small town. Above average continental breakfast. Free use of computer if you do not have your own. I chose this town rather than Drumheller to stay to explore the dinosaur heritage of the area, and was very pleased with this hotel.

The Motel and the rooms are well maintained and clean. We slept well in a quiet room. The staff was very friendly and informative. We will not hesitate to stay there again and recommend others to do the same. -

Five of us stayed in a two-bedroomed suite, overnighting between landing at the airport and picking up a motorhome. This was the best hotel experience of our Canadian holiday; not the swankiest, not the best located, not the most elegant, but by far the most hospitable. Early check-in? No problem. Upon check-in we were treated like royalty! We were a group of friends who get together once a year to shop and socialize. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We usually stay at the Mettera, which is also on Whyte and owned by the same company. We decided to give the Varscona a try and it was great. I enjoyed their wine and cheese hour that they had for hotel guest and the continental breakfast the next morning was really good. It kind of reminded me of my stay in Sonoma and Napa Valley.
