I never write reviews... But for this one, I make an exception. It's
à nice hotel for people who want privacy and who want to arrange
everything by theirselves. The rooms are spacious and beautiful,
comfortable bed! There is à kitchen, where you can make your own
breakfast. And bathrooms, although shared, are clean. Nice location,
5min walk from central station. So it's easy to use public transport
to every corner of the city! Moreover, cheaper restaurants are nearby,
instead of the restaurants. all reviews
The Hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms were neat and facilities were good like the common kitchen and Wi-Fi. TV, Iron Box, Kettle, Coffee / Tea Sachets and fridge was available. The hotel was secured with a secured lock in the front. The location and Transport access is aver big plus point. I have seen other backpackers or hotels nearby but this hotel really stands out to be classy for the money spent.
Posh Hotel is close to public transport, is clean and modern,has a good kitchen area where you can cook a meal or just make a cup of tea/coffee. the staff are friendly and helpful. the shared bathroom set up worked well and we didn't have to wait to use a bathroom.
Faultless location (5 mins walk from Central station, 10 mins to Paddys markets/Chinatown/Darling Harbour)

Clean, nice size & looks of the room. Walking distance to train station & main road. Pub just besides open til late for a quick dinner. 7Eleven just on the next road.

King sized bed. Comfort of room; cleanliness of room.
The bedroom is comfortable. Location is amazing which can buy or eat
everywhere. It is close to market city and China Town. It just takes 25
min walk from Circular Quay to the hotel. Good worth of saving
transportation cost.
Very nice staff, gave us excellent suggestions for our stay in Sydney. The location is not great, but very easy to reach from the airport, not far from the central station and a good starting point to explore the city.

Walking distance to everything, if not the public transport was brilliant. Considering the amount of traffic, it was reasonably quiet.

The rooms had a light stench because of the wooden flooring. Though the staff manage to make sure to clean with the fragrant liquid cleaners while cleaning the floor, I would suggest that they put room freshener / inscent sticks to avoid the same. This is a suggestion from my personal experience.
$200 bond, which was unexpected. 2.5% charge for using debit card was a bit steep.
No windows could be opened for fresh air, got very stuffy in the entire complex. Did use the air con but nice to have fresh air.

Hotel night no one service, a couple in the middle of the two of us go out to the corridor, toilet no toilet (room), and forgot to bring my room keys, the door locked, the couple sat the whole night in the sofa in the corridor.They call the hotel, always no one answer the phone, hope the hotel can improve.
The kitchen didn't really have anything it needed to function as a kitchen. Difficult to find crockery, pans etc. Also, no toaster which is just the sort of thing you'd expect to find in a kitchen.
The sofa folded down to make a single bed was broken at the hinge area and should not be in service even as a sofa.
Very tiny bathroom facilities.
We were charged 200$ "fine" in advance for the stuff we might
break. It felt like beeing treated as a criminal. Surely this money was
later on paid back, but as I've a foreign bank it cost me money
exchange and transaction payment which was around 45$ losses all
togather. When we moved in, some stuff was broken already - sofa was
hanging on one corner, tap was uncloseable... If you charge people for
breaking things at least you should fix them.
There is a surcharge for credit card payments, which was not shown anywhere at our booking.

The shared bathroom facilities are fine except for having to clean up other peoples mess.

Reception guy was "filling in" and not too knowledgable. He did a decent enough job to get us checked in though. Lack of shower/toilet facilities in room. Did not see on web site function for requesting handicap facilities.
The kitchen equipments were not very clean and there were crockcoaches
in the washrooms. That's disgusting. So we never use their towels.
We arrived quite jetlagged and just wanted to sleep a bit, unfortunately, the doors and walls are very thin. At night that is okay, but at daytime you hear every noise your fellow guests make in the shared areas.

The bed was low and hard. The pictures online didnt portray what they really were. Compared to other hotels i stayed in while in NSW, the price was unreasonable. My room didnt have a shared bathroom, but everytime i had to walk past, they were really smelly.

Rooms can be very noisy with people coming and going and street noise.
No pots, pans or cutlery in the kitchen area.
They made up the room for us while we stayed there but they didn't change the sheets on the bed or clean the floors.
The bathroom was very small and it smelled a bit mildewy. And they need more hangers in the wardrobe. 2.5% credit card surcharge is a bit steep too.
Dirty sheets from last occupant on bed on check in, but the
receptionist, changed the the bed linen straight away. First impression
of house keeping towards rooms was not good!.
Dirty face basin and shower base. Car park was much too expensive
(a rip off).
I didnt like the staff and manager of hotel because they were not professional and they didn't know how to treat with the customer.
They changed my room from private to share bathroom without inform us !!!I hate this hotel and never come back again to Posh Hotel.

A lots of cockroach was there in Bath room!! But it will be only in
summer maybe.
Reception was a complete mess with bed sheets on the reception lounge. After showering, water was coming up from under the lino on the bedroom floor. No facecloths or hand towels. Didn't have key card locks - did not feel secure. Right next door to a pub and building works.
