Hotel is very well located near Central station. Big mugs for coffee and tea and big glasses. Enough coffee and tea. Lots of thick pillows. Fridge, kettle, etc. Big desk. My room had a nice view of the street (not all rooms do) and very quiet with triple thick windows. Enough shampoo, conditioner and soap. I will recommend this hotel.all reviews
Everything was perfect, nice room, elevator working ;) 20$ to have a 24hinternet wifi access. Exceptionally nice and friendly staff...clean, big rooms.clean, modern, big room. excellent value. good location near central station.Quiet room in Central location - New, modern furnishings. Extremely clean and lovely room.Nice clean, secure facility.Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They did everything possible to make my stay pleasant there. The hotel is close to the city centre and everything is easy to access.friendly helpful staff. Close to the train station, The wifi had great reception and was really cheap. Staff were lovely. The room was huge - had a single and a double. Natural light. No outside noise. The bathroom was brand new, super clean and big.We liked the hotel, found it nice and handy for lots of places in the area. It was clean and modern.Closeness to the centre, staff availability. I got a very large family room. Double-glazed soundproof windows and large size made the room very quiet despite facing the main road. Central location. Friendly staff.Close access to Sydney Cenrtal Rail Station. Convenience of Location. It's location and proximity to public transport. the location,. close to transportation and some attractions.Location. The room was a little cold because the thermostat did not work. Also the thermostat in the fridge did not work which tended to freeze some stuff. No breakfast :s. Tea/ Coffee Making Facilities were not available. No iron or ironing board in room.We booked our stay in Byron and flew south that same evening, arrriving at 11PM and were told that the Hotel was closed at 9PM. This is not acceptable as we were unaware of this restriction on the web site. Hotels are 24/7 operations and guests don't want to be lectured about arriving late.I did not like that I was not able to open the window, but it is not the fault of the hotel as booking.com should have mentioned this. The location is not the most beautiful one, but it is okay for a short stay. The air condition is centrally controlled, it is not possible to set temperature and intensity individually, and the machine that circulates air makes a terriblie noise all the time.fire alarm kept going off one day. Quite distressing after 32 hours on planes and waiting for planes.I think the A/C was broken as out by the lift It sounded like the building was attempting to take off. Kept me awake for a little while. If there was someone at the front desk after 9 pm I would have asked someone to do something about it.No we liked the modern and clean lines of the room and en-suite. Would maybe suggest a shelf in the shower room for putting toiletries on. You know what us girlies are like for our sprays and talcs etc. Not a criticism, but found it a little strange having no natural daylight. However, we found it a nice friendly hotel, and we really enjoyed our stay there. Staff friendly and helpful. Thank you. from Mrs. A. Darby. The bathroom door squeaked a lot and this is no good when there are 4 people in the same room...Bathroom - nowwhere to PUT anything. Tap angle prevented easy filling of kettle.I was asked to pay the full balance of my reservation in advance at check-in, but this was not stated on the website.
The air-con could not be switched off: even when set to 25 degrees C it often pumped out cold air out of the ventilation window, placed right on top of the bed. Windows could not be opened. Some of the cups and spoons available for making tea/coffee were not clean.Slight smaell of cigarette smoke in the room. the size of the room. and that after 9 i couldnt contact reception. i did not have an enjoyable stay at the hotel. the lift was out of service which made it a real pain to go up an down four flights of stairs several times a day.the staff originally put me in a first floor room but they were having trouble with the heating system so had to relocate me to the fourth floor. the staff were very helpful in this situation but overall it was not a great experience.rooms are small and sparse and the tv is very small.bathroom floor gets wet from shower and becomes dangerously slippery.Could hear other rooms qutie easily. Elevator went wrong when we arrived on May 21, and no remind on the hotel info, when we came again on May 31, still could not work, and the receptioner have no apology for it, even not a little; 2) easy angry guy on reception, and not so polite, terrible experience, 3) concerned hotel service, not cheap hotel. In a word, last choice for next trip hotel selection.
