  We were originally meant to only stayed 4 nights but we stayed the entire 8 of our holidays! It is definitely worth the price you pay. Our room was serviced everyday by the friendly house keepers and were always greeted by the friendly, helpful service desk people. The people at the service desk will always help you book tours, taxi, shuttle bu... what people say » ses and all. Webber whom was a staff member was mainly a huge help to my partner and I!! The breakfast buffet is amazing. They offer a huge variety of - Absolutely loved our stay at the Rydges Esplanade Resort. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We checked in prior to 2pm due to a flight reschedule and even though the hotel was close to full the staff did everything they could to get us into our room as quickly as possible which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a mountain view room which had stunning views of Cairns at night. If your out during the day, I'd recommend this

  Great location, good facilities, good value for the money. The room came with a small kitchenette and was positioned near a grocery store. There was not a restaurant on premise but the nearby shopping center had a food court. If you cannot haul your own luggage up 2 flights of stairs, then you will need to request a ground floor room. The staff was friendly and helpful. - As first time visitors to Mackay we found the location very very handy - having the kitchen and accessories made eating a lot easier. Loved the basket and airer as it made washing easier. We hired a car & best part was the rental agency came to us (we did not need to find a way to them). We enjoyed out stay immensely.

  Fantastic value for money - I was a bit worried because it was at such a low rate...but the rooms are big! It is very comfortable. Staff are helpful and 24 hrs. There are two pools, which was great for the kids. Restaurant, room service at night, and $8 cooked eggs for breakfast. We stayed in the most basic of rooms. However the "kitchenette" had... what people say » everything, including an electric cooker, so really the only thing you are missing out on is an oven. It is certainly not brand new, but it is clean - 1. and out of the CBD which enabled us to have a peace and quietness during the days and nights for rest and sleep. 2.   My mom and I went to Cairns for a week holiday. We hoped to find a buget hotel during our stay. We found and booked this hostel through letsbookhotel.com for the first two nights, and decided that if it was not suitable we will change to another one.   It was our 2nd staying at the property and we enjoyed pretty much for twice accommodation there. It is a little bit different service style comparing with the big deluxe hotels, all the staffs here were all looking after us like family member, which made us feeling “ home away from home”. All - The location of the Bay Tree Hotel was perfect for our tansfer from the airport, the boat to Green Island for snorkelling and the Skytrain / Karunda rainforest expererience. The staff at the hotel desk were extremely helpful, polite and efficient. Breakfast by the pool on a nice sunny morning was perfect and added to our holiday. The room was perfect for the 3 nights we stayed, the confortable bed and the well equipped bathroom with walk in shower was very acceptable.

  Absolutely amazing place to stay, with great staff and superb accommodation. I arrived from my flight at about 5am, 9 hours before check in. This wasnt a problem, was shown straight to the guest lounge and was able to get some sleep and a shower and wait in comfort. My room was on the ground floor overlooking one of the swimming pools - it was l... what people say » arge, clean and well decorated. The bed was huge and comfy and couldn't have wanted more. The pool was gorgeous, the breakfast was superb, and the ho - We really liked the layout of Palm Royale and so many swimming pools from which to choose.There are plenty of options for ordering meals but they are brought in as I dont think there was a restaurant available to guests. Buffet breakfast is available on site. Red rooster is nearby and a shopping centre within close walking distance.Security staff constantly patrol the site. The room was very good value for money and we would stay again.

Breakfast was good, in addition to traditional choices (cold and hot) included some unconventional dishes tailored to Asian tourists. Staff was helpful and efficient.
