Liked that it was clean. it was in a good location, had parking provided, and the staff were cool.Location. Great location - friendly, courteous and helpful staff.Closeness to bus line and walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf. It has all the basic requirements.For old hotel it was pretty clean, my biggest concern. The owners were very accommodating we asked where a good place to park for alcatraz , they let us leave car parked in the lot after we checked out they said we could take bus right down there, we chose to walk. That meant a lot cuz there doesn't seem to be friendly people in San Francisco. all reviews »
Near to Fisherman's Wharf, in a relatively quiet location, easy to access many bus stops to interesting sighseeing or shopping places.location. location was great.good position for sightseeing. low price, location. We had problems with no electricity on one side of room including to refrig and microwave. the outlook of the hotel is in running down condition.Bathroom smelled a little funky, think maybe shower curtain from being wet, humid. Small room but who cares, we're only there long enough to sleep. No breakfast. Bad outside looking (although the room looks clean).room was cramped- no place for breakfast- don't like powdered creamer for coffee-not enough bath towels for 2 people, towels were very small. had to request beddning change and clean towels twice.Sheets/towels etc were very old and worn-towels were hard and sheets were threadbare.Breakfast was a muffin if you were quick or nothing. bad breakfast.
