  A budget friendly hotel in a great location. The hotel is located in the heart of the old city, about 5 min walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern, etc. The tram station is also a few minutes walk. Great value for money, especially taking into account the excellent location. - Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. The locations is GREAT - 2 min walk to Aya Sofia and Sultanahmet Camii, 5 min walk to Gulhane Park, 10 min walk to Galata Bridge. The tram station is also a few minutes walk. The rooms are clean and quiet. Possibility to parking the car. Working WiFi. We will definitely go back to Anadolu Hotel when we are back in Istanbul. Thank you for everything Anadolu Hotel :)

The room has coffee/tea facility but they provide hot water in a flask. Having a small child, I need an electric kettle to make milk at night. We booked a de Luxe room (located on the second floor in the building facing the mosque). Here, the view is magnificent. The owner runs a shop in the nearby art bazaar and all over the hotel and the room you will find beautiful examples of traditional and contemporary Kelim art. Personnel is great and speaks good to excellent English. Of course you hear the Muezzin at night, but that just adds to the oriental charms
