Bodrum Hotels

I am a very fussy, demanding and unforgiving traveler, and enjoy quality and value;my wife and I stayed at the Marmara Bodrum in October 2009, and were extremely satisfied. The hard to find but well worth finding location is on top of a hill overlooking downtown Bodrum , the Castle and Marina. Ask for a "direct view" room, as these have the best view from the room balcony.We had room 1630; adjacent rooms had also great views. We spent 3 nights here in late May, 2009. Because this is very early in the summer season, the hotel was very quiet. We loved this hotel. It is new and modern and well-equipped. What really stood out, however, was the excellent service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. While there may be hotels with better locations, the views here are lovely. We were on a guided tour and did not have a car. We often like to get around on local transportation. Here, we really enjoyed using the loc - Ian

A unique experience. My wife & I spent a most enjoyable week in this hotel at the end of September 2007. The hotel is excellently appointed and the staff very efficient and courteous. We got so friendly with Tanner that he invited us to his wedding (unfortunately four years hence) The room are ok but, if you can afford it, you should upgrade. All rooms face out onto a very pleasant pool with a pool bar, etc. This is not a cheap hotel, and neither is it particularly well known - we had to - Maria

Everything was excellent! The rooms were spaceous, very clean and with air conditioning. The bed was very comfortable. There was a wide choice of food and it was that good that I always ate too much and still wanted to eat more. Every evening they grilled different type of meat outside where the tables were, just delishious! There were 2 swimming pools and even a Turkish bath but unfortunately it was not open due to quiet period. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I made many fiends there. - Ian

Deniz was very surprised we were Belgians (3 couples) . He tought our identitycard was a drivers' licence ! He was a perfect host. We felt at home ! El Vino is a very lovely and quiet hotel perfectly located in Bodrum. A beautiful garden, swimmingpool etc.... . The view from the rooftop restaurant is spectacular ! Only one remark for the bartender : mojito is not red but green !!??? - Scott

DONT LISTEN TO ANY BAD REVIEWS !! This hotel is FANTASTIC ! i have never been to such an amazing hotel. Been to turkey twice before and didnt like it much, but was in Marmaris but did not like it so decided to try somewhere new and this place came up. I can not find any fault in this place, right on the beach with beautiful scenery. The staff.. oh my goodness the staff, i just fell in love with every one of them. Oh my god!! Where do I begin with the Gardenya hotel! It is absuloutly amazing and I would definatly go again. I have been there twice already and I can't get enough of it!! The bar staff were brilliant. They made us feel so welcome and warm. On my birthday, they all sang "Happy Birthday" to me, bought me a cake and even took me out that night when the bar had closed!
