Hello, I will begin with that I in Istanbul stop not the first time. I lived in many hotels of the region of Laleyli that in two tram stops from Sultanakhmeta. I liked hotel. Very convenient arrangement. In five minutes from the tram that is much important for the tourist who wants to look at everything. In pedestrian availability at least four sights plus nearby Grandee Market. It for those who wants something to buy. Very benevolent owner of hotel Omer always will help, will prompt at any tim.
all reviews » Omer the owner was a excellent host. We had the apartment at 4 th floor and were carrying a big luggage. There is no elevetor but this is not a problem he carried our luggage to our apartment and looked like this was very easy for him. He also arranged the transportation to airport at the end of our trip for reasonable price. The location is really good. The only thing is there is a big hill on the eminonu direction. If you are with kids this could be a challenge. We used ferry a lot. You can a. The owner was very friendly, professional, spoke excellent English, and responded quickly to all of my emails. The location is great and is within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Sultanahmet. The hotel is located on a small side street, but then most things in Sultanahmet are, and the hotel owner gave us a business card with a map of the immediate area on one side, which was very helpful in getting oriented to the area. The room, shared kitchen, and rooftop patio were v. The location is fantastic. It's very close to all the major sights of Sultanahmet (Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia) and is within easy walking distance of the tram stop. There are lots of places to eat nearby as well as several supermarkets. Rooms are clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and a reasonable size. Beds are comfortable, the shower is good strength and there is a big fridge in the room. The small roof terraces is good to sit and get some air, as well as having a view of the street life below. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is in the centre of main tourist attractions in Istanbul. You can go Sultanahmet (Blue) Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar and others by walk. The room has AC which runs very well. The hotel was an oasis after a long tired day. The isolation of walls is very good. No noise disturbs you. The Wi-Fi connection was free and fast. We used to kitchen at terrace to prepare breakfast. Omer the owner was very helpful. Whenever we need help he was . It was our third time in Stambuł - we were two girls on vacations. Excellent localizacion - really close to all turistic atracctions ( especially to tramway station, Eminonu, Blue Mosque, etc..). The street is safe and quiet. Very friendly and helpfull owner Omar. Apartment is really clean and comfortable. In the bathroom there is a separated shower. On the top there is a terace with nice view on Stambuł.Also if you need you can use a kitchen,When we will be back to Stambuł ( and we will be bac. We stayed in Istanbul only for two days. My goal was to get acquainted with the old town and the location of the Rain Apart Hotel is just great for this - all major sights are 5-10 minute walk away. At the beginning taxi driver had some difficulties to find the place, but to avoid that you can always use transfer, what was kindly offered after booking. The room was relatively small and simple, but clean and comfortable. Special thanks to Omer, who was very helpful. Highly recommend the place!!!. Great localization between Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar, that means you can visit all sights of Sultanahmet by walk. The street is quiet and safe, in the neighborhood there are small supermarkets, banks, currency exchange office, restaurants, tram. The room for 3 people has an adequate size, the beds are comfortable, clean, very good Wi-Fi connection. There are no lift but Omar, the manager, helped us. My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 5 days in November.Hotel is very nice(especially kitchen and terrace on topfloor)and location is fantastic.The most attractions are very near by walking and some others by tram.You can find everything you want in neighborhood.Rooms are comfortable,clean,A/C work good and Wi-Fi is very fast.Very good value for money.Omer,the owner,is very nice guy.He is really helpful and extremely professional.THANK YOU OMER !!!. This Hotel has a very good location, but it's not the only plus. The owner is very nice, friendly and very, extremely helpful. We were three young girls alone in the city, we've lost one of our bags in the airport, we had many problems, but the owner was always ready to help us, thank you! Rooms are big enough, everything is clean. There's a little kitchen upstairs, where you can drink tea or coffee everytime you want and a little Balkon. Ecellent located. we stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. It is located in the old city with tram station nearby. The owner is quite helpful. He helped us to carried our heavy luggage upstairs to the 4th floor when we arrived, showed us the way to buy tickets to Sanfranbulo, phoned the hotel there for us ,answered every details of our questions. Would recommend everyone to stay here!. The Rain Apart Hotel has a superb location. We have being staying in Istanbul 4 days and almost did not need to take any transportation mean. Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are 5 minutes walking away, The Grand Bazar 15 minutes walking and the Galata Tower just 25. The owner is also very nice!. Great location, very close to historical area - only 5 minutes walk to Blue Mosque. Clean and big room. Very helpful and friendly manager. The reception and the kitchen on 5th floor with nice balcony, so you can see a top of Blue Mosque, very nice esp at night. I really enjoyed my stay. Omar is a very good host. He wanted to help us during our trip. He found us people to do laundry, nice restaurant, etc. There is also a mini market near rain apart that is really appreciate. Ask him about this market. The location is perfect, as the terasse on the top. It was my 3rd time in Istanbul. I see many hotels before. But this hotel have a very nice place. Just 2-3 minutes from Sultanahmet tramway station. He made arrangements to pick up and drop off from the airport, and also showed us that there was no danger in the city due to the Taksim troubles. The apartment was nice, the AC worked. It was difficult to find the hotel but the reason is we don't know the area and used a car to came to the hotel also there is road work in the area. If you use public transportation ( tramway ) i believe it will be much easier. Nothing. I had a great experience here and would happily return on my next trip to Istanbul. I don't recall there being an elevator - if you have mobility problems, this probably isn't the best choice, as you'll probably have to climb a few flights of stairs to your room. But really, that's the only potential negative I can think of. As with everywhere in Istanbul, life can be a little noisy. However, I knew this before and was prepared for people talking loudly at all hours, and some noise from neighbouring buildings. The double glazed windows and air conditioning mean it's not a problem to sleep. For us it was not a problem, but there is no elevator. Nothing. The only minus - stairs, for families with little children it can be a problem. the hotel has a top balcony used as the lobby. it would be more comfortable if the seats are cleaner. When we arrived there was no electric stove in the kitchen, but the owner provided it when I asked. However, there was not a single pot to make porridge for the baby. We booked this place because it had a kitchen, so I could cook for the baby... I'm sure the owner would have provided it too, we just didn't see him anymore..( Not too awful, but just something to consider for families with small kids. Like other Apart-hotel, there is no elevator. People working until midnight in the building next door. Everything was perfect beside that! I recommend it! :). Sadly, three men staying for five nights, and the room was done only once. We were told that it would be done every two days, and the garbage bags cleaned everyday, but it wasn't like that. I could not figure out how to call a bell from the main entrance, so that you can hear it in the room. But I never asked :) so just ask. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep, in case you have problems with walking the stairs. No one. Hard beds - no big deal for me, but my wife always suffers. It's a steep climb up the stairs to the fourth floor!. It is a apart hotel, so you have to go out to eat. May be it is a good thing. It is better arrange the transportation to the hotel with the manager, because it is difficult to find it by yourself. When i came to Istanbul, i ask Mr. Omer to arrange me a privat transfer from the airport to his hotel, i payed for this, but was a shuttle. The transfer was ok, but not for the price i payed. -it was extremely dificult to find the place, our navigation couldn't find the adress, apartment is situated in the old part of the city what makes it almost imposible to get there by car. No Lifts. Rain Apart is good but not having apartment like fascilities as having full kitchen utensils,iron etc etc.Rooms are congested & apartment is dark all time & someone feels as no one is residing here.i will think at least to stay here or not in future.
