  After being delayed by weather and airlines for 2 days, we arrived at the Copthorne quite tired, frustrated and disappointed that our three night stay had been reduced to just one night. This was meant to be the first stop on our honeymoon and as such had booked a harbour view room. I'd kept the staff up to date with the delays, but thought I woul... what people say » d need to go through the story again upon check in. As soon as we entered the building, we were greeted by Kenny, who turned out to be the Duty Manage - Thankyou to your staff that night.We arrived in from Sydny after 1 am without our bags and only the cloths we were wearing. We had a 8 am departure that morning and they kindly arranged for our cloths to be washed and ready by 6 am. Nothing was too much trouble and they definately "went the extra yard" Our thanks to them again.

  The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception were friendly on arrival and there was nothing which was too much trouble. After travelling it was great that we could immediately get into our room. The food was good and so helpful to have a weekend breakfast special. The Hotel is so close to town, and this is partly why we chose... what people say » it again. - We liked the rooms, the location to what we wanted, the nice smile from the counter staff , the cleaning of the room.. even though we did not put the ' clean room' sign out, The care of the manager /owner when the quake struck with a cold beer.The blankets given when the fire alarm went ...after standing outside for ages.

  I don't frequently provide reviews of hotels, but Ohtel is very special. It is all the things hotels would probably like to be, but don't quite achieve. Ohtel is seriously stylish. It provides a luxurious experience, while being close to the heart of beautiful Wellington. I cant wait to book again! - Gorgeous hotel, fantastic value for money.... what people say » Location was perfect. The room was really well appointed. Was also really impressed with the little bar in the foyer - awesome chicken pie and glass of wine while killing time on my way back to the airport. Highly recommended!

  I booked two rooms for myself, my daughter and her bridesmaids to go wedding dress shopping in Wellington. The staff were friendly and efficient upon arrival. Rooms were large and clean and very nicely presented. Although we had a car with us, we used the valet parking option and left the car at the hotel while we walked to all the wedding shops -... what people say » very handy location for tourist activities, shops and waterfront. During our very short stay we had to get the car out of parking twice to pick bride - Staff were very friendly and helpful, finding out information for us. Location was great, very handy for Te Papa museum and easy walking distance to the harbour front and also to restaurants, shops etc nearby. Room seemed newly decorated and was clean, comfortable and spacious. Would definitely stay there if in Wellington again!
